Chapter 5: Meeting Destiny

"Caycee...Caycee..Caycee love wake up, dinner's ready" I groan at the person trying to wake me up. Knowing it wan't Craig seeing as it was a womens voice I opened my eyes to be greeted by Craigs mom Keisha. She was a pretty women. Her skin was a  lightchocolate brown, her hair was just past her shoulders and black and she was just below average height.

"Morning" 

"Morning? Hunny it's 5 in the afternoon" she chuckled. "Are you hungry? Do you want some dinner, I made my famous Lasagné?" She said with a grin.

"Yes please" I say getting up from the bed.

"Ok sweetie, just come down when you're ready" She says heading out of the door.

"Ok, thank you"

I'm really grateful that she took me in just like that. A random girl of the streets who she didn't know about, she's treating me like I am her own child. I get up out of bed and quickly take a shower since I didn't take one this morning, I can't believe it's already 5 in the afternoon, did I sleep that much?!

After I take I shower I change into a plain white tee and a pair of grey sweat pants and put my hairup into a tight bun. I never normally have my hair down. I hated my hair. It's all curly and wild and to hard to tame so I don't bother having it down. I make my way down the stairs to be hit with the most amazing smell, it was literally making my mouth water, it must of been the famous lasagné Mrs Micheals was talking about.

I walk into the living room to see Craig, his little sister and his mom all sat down eating. Well this isn't awkward at all, but boy oh boy was my tummy talking.

"You're food is in the oven love." said Mrs Micheals.

"Ok, thank you" I reply and walk into the kitchen. I open the oven take out my plate and start looking for a knife and fork.

"If you're looking for a knife and fork they're in the draw to your right" I jump almost dropping my plate. I turn around to see it was Craig.

"Sorry I didn't mean to scare you" he said grinning slightly.

"It's ok, where did you say they were?" I ask, forgetting what he said.

"Um they're in the draw to your right, I'll get it for you." He opens up the draw and hands them to me.

"Thank you" 

"It's alright, you wanna sit next to me?" He asks.

"Yeah please, I think it may be a bit awkward sitting next your mum or sister" I say letting out a little laugh.

"You haven't met my sister yet have you? I'll introduce you to her" I don't really like meeting new people, what if she don't like me? 

"She's not that bad, trust me, she may look intimadating but she's as soft as a marshmellow." He said before pausing.

"I don't think that made sense did it?" He said laughing. "

No it didn't but I get what you mean" I reply also laughing. He takes my hand leading me into the living room.

"Destiny, this is Caycee, Caycee this is Destiny." says Craig.

"Hey!" Says Destiny. 

"Hello" I say shyly. I really am not good at meeting new people. I'm seriously lacking social skills.

"You can sit next to me, I think we'll get along great as long as you don't touch my food." she says grinning and I laughed. What is it with this family and food! I look at Craig and he just simply nods and smiles at me so I sit next to Destiny.

"What type of music do you like?" She asks me.

"Um I like artists like, Frank Ocean, Odd Future, mainly Tyler the Creator, A$AP Rocky." 

"Same! I absolutley love Justin Bieber aswell, I'm a belieber hense why I'm wearing this jumper" she said grinning. Her jumper was purple and had a photo of justin on it with his name in little diamond thingys.

"Ew you and Justin Bieber, when are you going to learn that you will never be with him, and even if you had a chance it still wouldn't happen because I wouldn' allow it beside he has a girlfriend" Says craig. 

"Mom! Tell Craig to stop putting down my dreams!" Screeched Destiny.

"Hey, hey I'm not getting involved." says Mrs Micheals laughing.

"I WILL marry Justin Bieber, you watch, and when I do, you won't be invited to the wedding, only mom and Caycee will be, right Caycee?" Says Destiny.

"Um yeah sure why not" I say confused. 

After we were all done, Mrs micheals collected up our plates and headed for the kitchen. "Would you like some help Mrs Micheals?" I offer.

"Please call me Keisha, and no hun I'm fine, you just sit and relax" She says.

"Ok" I smiling. Soon as Keisha left to go in the kitchen Craig started smiling.

"What you smiling about all of a sudden turd?" says Destiny.

"The fact that mom never lets anyone call her her real name, and she just said Caycee could, she must like her." Says Craig. Really? She likes me? I mean I like her too she's really nice, I mean this is so weird, not much people like me.

"Oh yeah, you're right!" Says Destiny laughing. "Mom only lets people call her Mrs Micheals because she thinks it's more formal." Destiny explains.

"Oh I see" I say understanding.

We all talk for an hour or so, getting to know eachother, well when I say eachother I mean me getting to know them and that's it. Turns out Destiny is really into dancing and singing and goes to a speacial talents school. Craig is really into singing as well but he is always Captain of his schools football team and Keisha runs her own resturant called Esquisit.

"So Caycee, was you in sch-" Keisha started talking but she got cut off my the doorbell.

"I'll get it" Says Destiny.

"As I was saying, Caycee was you in school before?" She asks me.

"No not really, well I went in a couple of days, but most of the time I'd be at home looking after my foster dad." I say not really wanting to go into detail. I just hope she doesn't ask questions.

"Um Caycee there's someone at the door for you..." Said Destiny looking confused.

"Ok?" Who the hell would come here for me? No one knows I'm here. I walk over to the door and was mortified to see who was standing in the door way.

"Bet you thought I would find you didn't you? You can't hide from me remember."
