Like waiting for something to come
Waiting for you to grab on
Although silent, I am calling out to you

Holding a candle in one hand

But through the darkness
Through the battle in our minds

With every wish

With the last falling star

The cold night swallows me whole
Your warm breath
Your accepting grasp
With one final breath
I melt into the darkness
The endless cloak
Black as coal
