"Brother!"

Reiji craned his head to see his adopted sister standing on the bridge, with her duel disk on her arm.

"Reira! What are you doing?"

"I intervened so you wouldn't get hurt." she answered.

"Stop, get away from there! You will not duel Zarc! He's too dangerous!" Reiji ordered.

"No, it's okay. I won't be duelling Zarc. Only one person can defeat him."

Reiji raised an eyebrow, "What?"

Reira stepped aside, she gestured to the woman standing next to her. She was reasonable tall and had long hair tied into pigtails.

Reiji gasped, "How... is that possible?"

"She was revived with Arc V. It actually worked. We also got these cards." the young girl held up four cards for everyone to see.

The cards each had a unique pattern and symbol on the picture. The text below explained its effect.

"Are those...?"

Reira nodded, "Yep."

Reiji sighed. He used his middle finger to prop up his glasses. A gleam of light appeared upon the glass, concealing his eyes. "The plan worked in the end."

"...Ray?" Leo whispered in disbelief.

The woman spotted the older male. A warm smile etched into her lips. "Hello father, it's good to see you again."

"...Ray. I missed you. We have so much to catch up on!" Leo exclaimed.

Reiji froze; he had never seen such happiness on his father's face.

His daughter's smile disappeared. "I'm sorry, I can't stay for long. Unfortunately our reunion is a very short one."

"What are you talking about? You just came back."

"But after this is done, I'll have to leave. That's just the way it has to be." she spoke in a monotone voice, trying to conceal her true emotions.

She won't allow herself to get too attached to anyone else while she was here, it'll just make it harder to leave.

"No... "Leo whispered, "Please don't talk like that. Don't leave me again, please!" he pleaded, extending out his hand out to her as though he'd be able to get her in his grasp if he reached long enough.

"I'm sorry." was Ray's response. She turned her back on her father, and her feelings.

Leo bellowed out her name, screaming his throat hoarse.

She refused the urge to turn back.

"Reira," she turned to the shorter girl. Reira jumped at the mention of her name. Ray flashed a reassuring smile. "Thank you for bringing me back; I can finish this on my own."

Reira nodded, "You can do it Ray." she cheered excitably, handing her the cards.

Ray turned on her heels. She marched forward to the demonic man.

"Ray..." Zarc's nose crinkled, the name left a bad taste in his mouth.

"Hello Zarc." Ray greeted. "I see you've been causing trouble again."

She spoke as though this was a causal conversation.

"What? Aren't you desperate to stop me?" the male asked.
