I will never forget you
For you have left enough marks,
These scars on my skin
And the bruises i feel within,
This pain in my chest,
Pounds with your name.
I will never forget you,
I cant even if i tried,
There are some people that stay there
Even after good-byes.
You are here even when you're not,
You are the hesitation i feel
When i meet somene new,
You are the fear in my heart.
But i will learn to be stronger,
I will remember this pain,
Remember the mess you left me as,
I will look back to where i am now
And how i moved on.
I will grow pink carnations,
In the places that hurt most,
They will rise from my scars,
Grow from the cracks on my heart.
They will thrive on my tears,
And grow taller
Until they crash into the sky.
I will never forget you,
I will take all my sorrow,
And grow myself a garden,
A place of broken beauty.
Somewhere i go,
to remind myself that
When things fall apart
It doesnt mean each piece isn't beautiful,
And sometimes you fall into a place,
Where you find yourself again.
