When she admitted on social media about her condition, she got praised by news outlets and fans by her courage to speak out.
But in August 2016 after receiving harsh comments for posting an anti-gun violence message on her Instagram account, she deactivated it. The actress quickly returned to the social media and said the reason why she had the reason to delete her account with the exact words on her post which was shared on August 3rd 2016:
"Hey ya'll! I just want to explain my hitaus... I just want to be on my phone less! Trying to be more present and all that and got a few busy months ahead so wanted less distractions... It's all good :) I always appreciate the support and love the Instagram community! X"
