She asked her father later and being the scientific man he was, replied with this: "We evolved from monkeys a long time ago."
Confused, she came back to her mum, "Mum, you said that we came from Adam and Eve, but dad said that we came from monkeys."
"Oh, he's just explaining his side of the family."
