Wake up I see Jacob turned the other way I quickly get out of bed and run downstairs to get my phone

Rose:hey mom I spent the night at Jacobs I forgot to tell u

Mom:it's ok but u need to talk to James u know

Rose:I will today and talk to Theo ok bye😘

Mom:bye

I quickly turn off my phone and go upstairs to hop into the shower I get out and put on👇🏻

I get my phone I walk out of the bathroom to see Jacob still sleeping I kiss his head ten I head out the door walking to my house I walk in the see James watching tv

Rose: um hey can we talk?

James: yeah what's up?

Rose:is my mom home

James:she left a couple min ago to the store I think

I chuckle I missed him but I'm over it because I only love Jacob and only him

Rose: can we talk

I say as I sit next to him

Rose: ok so what I said at the beach I didn't mean it like-

I stop trying to find words to say

James:like?

Rose: right,we had something we really did and when u left it hurt but after a week I was over it but that doesn't mean that I don't like u I just like u as a friend and I love Jacob know so I understand?

James:yeah I was just hoping we could get back together but u seem so happy with Jacob and I don't want to ruin that

Rose:thank u sooo much

I hug him as soon as I start to get up my phone rings it Jacob

Phone call
Jacob:where are u?

Rose:I am over at my house I am coming right know

Jacob:sounds good love uuuuu

I laugh a little

Rose:love u tooo
End of phone call

Rose:I got to get going but it was so good talking and best friends?

James: best friends

I hug him and run out the door to Jacobs house I walk in and up to his and see him on his bed sweat pants and no shirt

Jacob: why did u go home u could have stayed

Rose: I know I just needed to fix some things

I say as I wrap my arms around him

Jacob: I love u

Rose: I love u too

I whisper in his arms
