The whole day was really tough for Sanyukta.
The last night conversation was in her mind for the whole day.
Renuka was observing her but choose to remain silent because even she didn't have answers to her questions.
In evening.
Randhir came back home.
He found Sanyukta busy in arranging her wardrobe.
She was not aware of his presence.
"Sanyukta..." He called her.
She turned around.
"Aare aagaye aap..." she said
She went to him.
"Coat...?" She asked for his coat.
He handed her his coat.
She folded it neatly and kept in wardrobe.
Randhir was observing her keenly.
"Till how long am I going to hide the truth from her?" He asked himself.
"Sanyukta...listen..." He said to grab her attention.
"Haan..." she asked him.
"Tum thik ho?" He asked her.
"Haan..." She replied
He took her into his hug.
"I am sorry for the last night..." He said
"It's okay" She said
"It's not like that Sanyukta that I am not understanding you"
"I know...what are you feeling" "I too wish for a baby..." "But..." He stopped in the middle.
She broke the hug.
"But..." She urged him to speak
"Sanyukta you know how much I am serious about work"
"There are some short terms goals I have to achieve in coming years"
"I have to make Dad proud of me" He said
"I know, I understand..." "I know you love your work..." "It's fine..." "We can wait..." She said keeping a stone on her heart.
Randhir kissed her forehead.
"Maa and Papa are out at a friend's house for dinner" "So you and me are left for dinner" "You get fresh, we will have dinner together" Sanyukta said
"Yeah..." He said
"Aapke pasand ke rajma aur chawl banaye hai" She said
"Yum...can't wait now" "You go...I will get fresh soon" He said
Sometime later.
Randhir came from back and hugged Sanyukta from back.
"Randhir..." "You scared me" She said
"Chalo let me help you in kitchen today" He said
"No need" "It's almost done..." "You go and wait at table..." She said
Randhir placed a kiss on his shoulder and left her.
He helped her with arranging table for dinner.
They had a lovely time at dinner.
Later that night.
"Yeah...it's fine..." "Will arrange a meeting soon" Randhir was talking on phone.
Sanyukta was adoring her husband from bed. Randhir joined her on bed in no time.
"Any problem Randhir?" "You look stressed" She asked
"Nothing..." He said
"Just tired..." He said
She moved forward and placed a kiss on his forehead.
"You work so hard..." She said
"Only to get a sound sleep in your arms..." He said
She smiled.
"Come..." She said
Randhir moved into her hug.
She hugged him back as if he is her baby.
The warmth of her embrace is exactly what Randhir wanted that moment.
She lovingly caress his hair.
Soon she heard his soft snores on the skin of his neck.
She too closed her eyes in sometime.
Morning.
"Good Morning hubby" Sanyukta wished
Randhir as soon as he opened his eyes.
"Morning Biwi..." He moved out of her arms.
"I hope you had a good sleep" She said
"yes...Biwi..." "All I need is just you..." "Tum ho muje aur kuch nahi chaiye..." He said
"Ek baat puchu aapse Randhir" She asked her
"Pucho..." He said
"Muje aaisa kyu lagta ki aap mujse kuch chupa rahe hai" She said
Randhir's expressions changed.
"Aaisa kuch nahi hai..." He said
"Shayad nahi ho..." "But I really feel...there is something you don't want me to know" "I can feel it Randhir"
"Roz aapka chehra dekhti hu toh muje lagta hai...ki aapko koi baat hai jo bohot pareshaan karti hai" She said
"It's work stress Sanyukta" "Nothing else..." He said but without matching her gaze.
"I don't know why you feel so?" He said
"What's wrong Randhir?" "Tell me..." She said
"Nothing is wrong Sanyukta..." Randhir got up from bed.
"Swear on me then..." She said
"Ohh god Sanyukta please stop it..." "stop all this" He said
"I have marked a change in you post our accident" She said
"I am not well...?" "Something happened...?" She concluded.
"Your words, when you say you don't want to lose me" "Phir aabhi aapne kaha aapko aur kuch nahi chaiye sivay mere" "I know how much you wish for our baby Randhir..." "Mujse zyada toh aap chahte ho..." "Phir aachanak kya hua hai?" She asked him.
Randhir realised the depth of the situation. Now, he cannot hold it for more time. It's better to let her know the truth. He decided to tell her the truth.
