I just watched a short animation and I really liked it so I decided to try and make a short story about it. It's inspired, not exact

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm in bed, my plain bed in my plain room, looking at my phone, on Twitter, a few pictures here and there.
Nobody cares.
I looked back up to see the calender hanging by my door. It's my birthday. It's fine. I'm turing 18.
You're not ready.
Who cares?
I shake it off and look back at my phone and see my friends having fun at a party. "Havin the time of our lives! Best group of BFFs ever XD!"
They don't care.
They don't even know.
Do you even have friends?
I start to feel tears roll down my cheeks from my eyes. I scroll down to see a picture of me from my mother.
"It's my (little girl's/boy's) special day! Happy birthday dear love you!"
I sigh still looking at the picture.
Didn't you look prettier back then?
Aww, the exact opposite of you.
I stare at it for a good minute when the picture waved at me. I slightly jump at this. My room starts to turn black. I close my eyes in fear,
When I open them I see black but I'm up and....I think alive. My body's light and in a grey scale. I see a flash of light behind me, slowly I turn around.
Behind me was a smaller me? They had a long light f/c shirt with small white sneakers. They give me a smile as I stare at them confused. They wave their hand at me as a small f/c crayon formed in their hand. (She/He) stared in excitement as they ran off. Drawing on the wall, somehow, as they did. They come towards me crayon in hand, smiling. I slightly smile back.
You're talentless
It sucks
I frown again. "You're talentless" Wha? The words form in front of me and goes towards younger me and then disappeared on impact. (She/He) looks down with a frown. The f/c crayon streaks start to fade to grey. (She/He) or, I? Look back up at me trying to smile, they turned around and drew a small circle in the air. I come up to it.
~
A picture of me and another girl appear, she has her back turned while I'm drawing. She turns her back and I show her the picture.
That's stupid.
A chain forms around my hand.
~
Then a picture of myself getting pushed down by a few boys appears, they start laughing.
Dumb weak baby
A chain forms around the other hand.
~
My group of friends and I are playing hide-and-seek. I hide around a bush, they found each other, but left me all alone. It was night already.
A chain forms on both of my feet.
~
I'm sitting on a swing when a couple of kids walk past. And I hear them.
They're ugly
A chain forms around my neck.
~
No matter where I go I keep hearing them.
You're weird
They're stupid
Worthless
Nobody likes you
It's so true
Multiple chain links form from my hands to my neck to my ankles.
~
I stand in the middle of a circle of people with chains practically surrounding and covering my body. A single tear comes down my face.
~
I jump up, back to the plain "room", a dull flash of light appears behind me. I turn around almost instantly jumping back.
In front of me was, younger me, sitting down surrounded by chains. With the f/c streaks fading and dulling. I went up to him/her, but stopped where the chains started. Another sentence appears and goes towards them, again disappearing on impact.
You're worthless
A single chain link attaches onto one of the links. (She/He) looks up at me, smiling.
I put my hands over my mouth and start crying, I fall to my knees in the chains. I look down. I pull her/him into a tight hug. And I say the words that would help them the most.
"You matter"
In a white light the chains dissapear, leaving us hugging.
~
I wake up in my bed, I sit up and get out. I breathe with confidence as I open up the blinds. I scwint my eyes and look back up at what I would call a beautiful scenery. I smile brightly and go to get changed.
"You can do it"
