I heard nothing from Harry the night he left. Well, actually I did. I had a text at 11, saying, ‘I really loved the weekend. I was so happy you got to meet my brother and sister. I meant what I said last night too. I love you. So much. H xxx.’

Monday was quite odd for me. When I got into work, all of the kids started to look at me. They had obviously seen the papers throughout the weekend. As I got into the office, there was a newspaper on my desk. On the front cover was Harry and I. I knew it was a joke, so I put the paper in the bin, put the kettle on and got ready for my first lessons of the day, year 9. The day was great, except for all of the guys in my office teasing me for being seen with Harry. To be honest, I didn’t really give a stuff. The only thing I was looking forward to was seeing my phone and having a text from Harry. By this time, it was 7o’clock in the evening and I had just got in from helping out with some after-school netball sessions. The text from harry read, ‘I am having a little trouble not forgetting about you. Ring me when you have a minute. I love you. H xx.’

So, once I had cooked myself dinner, had a shower, got myself in bed and turned the T.V on I decided to ring Harry. The first time he didn’t pick up, but the second time he did. His graceful voice answered the phone, “Hello?”

“Hey Harry, it’s me. Are you alright?”

“Oh, Soph, hey. I forgot I asked you to ring. What are you up to?”

“Nothing, just sitting in bed watching T.V. What about you? Have you had a good day?”

“Um, just sitting on the sofa reading my book. My day has been alright thanks. It would have been better if I could actually concentrate while flying a plane instead of thinking about you!”

“Well I’m sorry that you can’t keep my lovely face out of your head. That’s not my problem!”

“God, I love you.” Whenever he uttered those three words butterflies fluttered in my stomach.

I giggled, “I love you too! Now, what is it that you love so much about me?”

The conversation went on until about 11. I loved talking to harry. We had conversations about the weirdest things. We had arranged to meet up on Friday night at his to spend the rest of the weekend together. I know it doesn’t sound like much, but the little time we had together was the best time we ever had.  I fell asleep with the thought of Harry imprinted into my brain.

The week went so fast. I just couldn’t wait to see Harry again. He told me on Thursday that things would get better for us in the next few months because he had finished his helicopter course and he loads of free time in London. That suited me just fine. It meant I could spend more time with him, and I was thrilled about that. Friday couldn’t have come around quicker.

I had just got in from work when I heard a knock at the door. I knew who it was without even asking. I walked over to the door and opened it, well really forcing it open. When I opened the door I saw Harry’s gleaming smile beaming down at me. It made my heart stop for a few milliseconds. He stepped forwards, shut the door and wrapped his arms around me. It was good to be in his tight grip again. The only place I really felt safe. I leaned back, so our faces were just close enough, so I could still see into his eyes. They were a very bright dark blue today. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him passionately, but pulled away, just making him want more.

“Hello.” I whispered as I lay my head onto his chest.

“Hello beautiful. I have been waiting 5 days to do that.”

I raised my head so I was looking at him, “You think I haven’t been planning that for 5 days either? I never want you to leave for that long. Ever again.”

He laughed at me, “Well, gorgeous, I won’t have to, mainly because I have finished my helicopter training, therefore, I am moving out of my house in Suffolk on Monday and moving back to London.”

My eyes lit up instantly, “What really!?” I shrieked and hugged him tighter.

“I’m glad you’re pleased.” He chuckled to himself, “Now would you like to stay here this weekend, or do you want to come to mine, I don’t mind which. You choose.”

Umm, decisions, decisions. Well not really. “Please can we stay here?” I gave him the puppy-dog eyes so he couldn’t resist.

“Of course we can, I thought you’d say that, so I brought some clothes.”

The rest of the evening was fantastic, Harry made me dinner while I was in the shower, and we sat on the sofa eating, and then cuddling in each other’s arms. He let me watch some of my favourite films like Shrek and Pirates of the Caribbean. I fell asleep in his arms, so he carried me to the bedroom, he put me into bed and watched me sleep for a while. I heard him constantly whispering, “I love you,” into my arms until he too, fell asleep.
