Your POV

I opened my eyes and was met with nothing but endless blackness and dead silence. It was cold. It felt like I was just floating in mid air.

"Dark, darker, yet darker...isn't it?" A voice echoed through out the dark void.

My body stiffened. I looked around for the source of the voice but couldn't see anything. I could feel a pare of eyes on me.

"W-who-" I started but got interrupted by the voice.

"Ssssshhhhh..." The voice shushed me. There were footsteps echoing of the what seemed like endless black walls.

A melting like figure stood in front of me. It looked at me with a creepy smile, but yet it had a calming presence.

I looked at him in confusion and amazement. He smiled wider if possible, but not in a creepy way.

"Hello. (Y/n). Do you remember who I am...?" He said slowly.

I looked at him up and down.

"You look...familiar." I said. My voice sounded so weak and dry.

"Well in that case...I am W.D. Gaster. But you can call me G for short."

I nodded. Suddenly remembering what he said earlier.

"How do you know my...n-name?" I asked.

"We met before. Long ago. Before the events happened. Do you remember?"

I closed my eyes and tried to remember the events that happended.

                      Flashback

Everything seemed to go into a normal pace as I stabbed my knife through Chara's soul, and through her heart.

Her eyes widen.

Blood dropped from both our mouths.

I looked at her then at the portal.

Sadness and despair of all my friends is what I saw. I gave them a weak smile before the portal closed leaving me stranded here forever.

"Y-you idiot...I...I will just come back. You know that...right? Hehehe..." She said weakly.

"No...you wont...I will....I will make sure of it...." I said just as weakly.

I leaned over to Chara and whispered something in her ear.

She had a look of anger with a a little bit of guilt. Her body went limp and her eyes went dull. She soul shattered one last time, her breathing stopped.

I sighed as I let myself fall to the ground.

                 End of Flashback

I opened my eyes and looked at Gaster.

"All I remember is....me killing somebody." I said in a concerned tone.

Gaster nodded. "Correct. You did. But that's not the full story."

"Then what is...i don't remember it all."

"That's for you to find out child." Gaster responded.

"But I do need to see something...for science of course."

"Huh? What is it?" I said kinda  sceptical.

I heard a 'ping' and a gold heart shape was floating in front me.

"As I expected..." Gaster mumbled putting a hand up to his chin.

"Woah...what is that?" I asked amazed staring at the gold heart, mesmerized by how it glowed brightly.

"That, (Y/n), is your soul. Every human  has a colored soul. The soul color determines on your trait. But you...you are a new trait." Gaster explained.

"W-what am I?"

"You...you are confidence. And may I say that...this-" He gestured toward my soul. "Might be the strongest soul out there. Stonger than Determination but not as strong as Fear. That's why you where able to get rid of Chara's soul, cause your soul over powered determination completely destroying her soul." Gaster continued.

"Chara? Was she the one....I....killed."
I asked scared of my actions.

"Yes. But like I said, it's not the full story. You have to figure that out yourself."

"How? What happened? Why did I kill her?" I asked getting impatient.

"You will find all that out soon. Right now you are unstable. If I told you it would be to much for you mind to handle and you will fall into a coma for Asgore knows how long." Gaster explained pacing around the endless black floor.

I kept quiet not wanting to irritate him. I had mixed feelings. Confusion, Impatience, Anger, yet Confidence.

"Oh no..." Gaster mumbled under his breath.

"What?" I asked worried.

Everything seemed to fade into a bright light.

"G?!" I yelled in a panic.

The light was getting brighter every second.

"Don't worry, I'll be fine...it is you I'm worried about." He said with a look of worry and sorrow on his face.

"W-what are you not telling me?!" I yelled once more.

But before he could answer the white light covered the black void blinding me, making me black out.
