Chapter 12 (Barry finds out)

Hey guys first of all, sorry for not updating in a while blame writers block but I'm back now and I will try to update as much as I can. So here's chapter 12 and hope you enjoy it.

Barry P.O.V
Now I'm starting to get worried what if Nathan is sick? What if he's dying! I don't think I could live without him so I decided to push him for answers.
"Nathan please tell me what did the doctor say" I said with concern
" Relax Barry I'm not sick or anything" he said
"Then what is it?" I said
"Barry we are going to be Dads" he said
"What? I said in confusion
"I'm pregnant" he said I just stood there in shock for moment after it all sinked in all I could do is hug Nate protectively and whisper to him
"Thank you babe" and pulled him into a kiss
"For what?" He said
"For telling  me as soon as you found out" I smiled
"So your not mad?" He asked and I just frowned
" of course not why would I be mad? I mean we are having a baby it's what we always wanted only that now we don't have to adopt" I said smiling from ear to ear.
"Yeah" he said while rubbing his stomach
"So how far along are you?" I asked
"The doctor said about 14 weeks" he said I thought back to 3 1/2 months ago was the last time Nathan and I smootched without protection. I just blushed at the thought
"Wow so the next visit we will find out the gender?" I asked with enthusiasm
"Yeah but between us I have a strong feeling it's a boy" he said
"I think it's a girl but whatever it is we will love him/her and spoil him/her" I said smiling
Nate just laughed.
"What are you laughing about?" I whined
"At the fact that you think our child will be spoiled" he said in between laughs
"Aww come on Nate you know he/she will if not by us then he/she will definitely be spoiled by Iris ,Cisco ,Cait,Joe and Ollie" I said
"Yeah your right but one of the things I want our child to know is that everything has to be earned in life and to appreciate what he/she have" he said firmly
"I completely agree with you babe" I said as
I tackled him into the bed and started hitting him with pillows and he hit me back with a bigger pillows witch lead to a very competitive and aggressive pillow fight which  I lost by surrendering.
"And so the reigning pillow fight champion keeps his title" Nate said while holding both his arms in the air and I took advantage of this situation by tickling his stomach and he just laughed and laughed until we were laying down next to each other while sighing from the tiredness. After we rested for a bit I rolled my body so I can see Nate face to face and broke the silence.
"Hey Nate?"
"Yeah Barry?" He said
"Can I talk to the baby"I asked
"Of course baby" he said as he removed the covers and lifted his shirt just enough to expose his stomach that wasn't showing yet.
"Hey there little one I'm your dad I don't know if you can hear me yet but I want you to know that your daddy and I can't wait to meet you and that I will do whatever it takes to protect you and I love you so much already" I said sincerely and giving his stomach a kiss realizing that Nate was also asleep so I fixed his shirt,covered him so the baby and him won't be cold and give him a kiss on the cheek while whispering in his ear.
"Thank you for being in my life babe "
