Blood trickled down from her lips as (Y/N) stared at Her old friend. She stared into his eyes hoping for a sign that the man that she knew and loved was still in there. There was nothing to recognize about him, he was almost completely gone.

"Buck, it's me! Come on!" She blocked a punch he threw at her,"Bucky stop!" (Y/N) growled,"This isn't you!" She tried to push him away from her, she didn't want to hurt her friend. With years of vigorous hydra training, she had become lethal.

He picked the much shorter woman up and threw her onto the quartz tile ground, causing the breath to be knocked out of her. She kicked upwards hitting him the stomach, he staggered back and winced. (Y/N) didn't want to hurt him.

"I don't know who you are." He stated painfully, not trying to make eye contact with her. She knew he could feel that he knew her, Bucky had always been stubborn when it came to admitting things.

(Y/N) took a few steps back, her eyes wide"It's me, (Y/N)!" She kicked at him, but his reflexes were too quick he grabbed her leg and twisted it, causing her to spin around,"I'm your friend!" She pulled his leg from his grasp.

"I don't have friends!" He threw another punch at (Y/N) but she grabbed his metal arm, the man glanced at her then down at his arm then back up at (Y/N) again,"How.... Bucky groaned in frustration,"Why is everything so confusing!"

"I was your friend! Your name is James Buchanan Barnes. You where in the one hundred and seventh Infantry Regiment and you where childhood friends with Steve Rogers!" She exclaimed, hoping that he would remember anything from that sentence.

Bucky fell down to the ground,"(Y/N) and Steve, I want to remember..." She crouched down next to him, She tilted her head to the side to make eye contact with him. He lifted up his head and looked at her she could see the tears falling from his eyes.

"Bucky, listen to me, I can help you. We can figure out who you are together." The woman placed her hand on his back and hoped he would agree and go with her. She would do anything for this man.

"How do I know I can trust you?" He looked up at her with a questioning look, he was clearly confused, and still had no idea who she was, but he would learn. Someday he would remember.

"Because I am your friend, Bucky. That means that I will do anything to help you, even if it means I die" She explained.

A small smile pulled at the corner of Bucky's lips,"I feel like I remember you (Y/N) but it's not coming back to me."

"I will do everything humanly possible that I can." She smiled,"We should definitely check the museum first."She stood up and put out her hand for Bucky to grab. He took her hand and she pulled him off the ground," I should probably stay low though, Steve still doesn't know I'm alive."

(Y/N) had finally gotten her Bucky back.
