Wally West/ Kid Flash X Reader (Immortal.)

Hyia kids. So like, I totally forgot to do a 30k special. And now I don't exactly have 30 k so like. I guess this is a Pre-35k special. This was gonna be the 30k special. And that was a while ago. Hehe. Anyways!!!

This Oneshot doesn't have enough words now so I'm trying to get it up a bunch. I'm at like 913 words. Usually they are longer than that. I used to write them up to 700 ish. But like that was to little. So now I try to get them up to 1,000. Right now I'm listening to (The House of The Rising Sun) -By The Animals. Its a really good song.... I still need some more words. I'm up to 974 now. Uhg. Oh well. I don't have many thoughts in my brain so I don't think I'll make it up to that point. Oh. Wait. DONE!

Wally glanced down at the ring box on his bedside table. He missed her. The only woman who could cheer him up on a sad day. The woman who made him feel as if he was worth something. He frowned sitting up in his bed, his legs off the side of the bed. He rubbed his face with his hands.

It had been years since she went missing. Well... less missing than vanished off the face of the earth. He wasn't sure what it was, but she had changed something in him that day.

"Wally!" The (h/c) girl called from outside, "Wally there is still one left, it's about to go into full chrysalis!" Wally's eyes widened.

"Where is it (y/n)?" He asked.

The girl pulled up a holographic screen in her palm, "It's seems to be in the Arctic. We have to get there now!" Wally nodded picking up (y/n) and running all the way to the arctic. They had no time to put on jackets or anything that would protect them from the cold.

(Y/n) was fast but she wasn't quite as fast as Wally. Even a few seconds behind it a lot when you are a speedster. Wally sent down (y/n) and glanced up at the giant vortex.

"What do we do?" The girl asked, glancing to see both The Flash (Barry) and Impulse (Bart) already running around the pod that was already in chrysalis.

Bart and Barry both looked extremely worn out, "We aren't fast enough." Bart cried, starting to pant, "We can't do this with just the two of us!" (Y/n) ran into the vortex followed by Wally. She started running around in the direction that the two were already running in.

"What about the Four of us?" She asked, taking a glance at Bart. Who was struggling to stay at the pace he was going, it was as if the weight of the vortex stopped pressing on him. He slowed down a bit, followed by Barry. (Y/n) and Wally ran faster trying to match their pace.

(Y/n) was to slow, she couldn't even match Wally's pace. She started getting struck, struck by lightning that that was coming from the vortex. But she kept up her pace. Still running.

She was struck again, this time letting out a cry. Wally glanced over at her concerned, he slowed down a little to match her pace.

"(Y/n)!" He cried out. (Y/n) shook her head, still running.

"No, Wally! Keep running. Go without me! You have to stop it!" Tears filled (y/n's) eyes.

Wally shook his head, "(Y/n) what are you saying!?" (Y/n) was struck again.

"Wally, please! Promise me you won't die!"
(Y/n) cried.

Wally ran side by side with her, "(Y/n) what are you talking about!?" (Y/n) glanced down at her hand, her body was becoming translucent. Wally's eyes widened.

"Just promise me! Tell me you won't die!" She exclaimed.

The redhead nodded, "Alright, I promise."

(Y/n) sent him a weak smile, "Thank you. Wally..." She hesitated, glancing down at her hands which were almost completely see through now, "Wally, I love you."

Suddenly the pod exploded. Causing all of the speedsters to be thrown back. Wally covered his face, blocking any shrapnel. After everything settled down Wally stood up, looking around.

"(Y/n)?!" He ran around the surrounding area, trying to find at least one trace of her. He ran back to the group of superheroes.

Bart and Barry turned to him, "Wally, where is (Y/n)?" Wally fell to his knees, clutching the snow in his hands. Tears rolled down his cheeks.

"I promise (Y/n). I will love for you." He mumbled to himself.

Wally gripped the ring box. Opening it and glancing at the ring. That was the day he was going to ask her to marry him. Wally placed the box down, standing up and walking over to the window.

He opened the curtains, glancing out at the world. Things had changed. The world seemed darker. Buildings had changed. It was no longer the small version of Central City that he and (Y/n) had lived in.

He didn't know exactly how, or what she did. But he was sure it happened when he made that promise.

It had been 200 years since she had disappeared, and yet he had kept his promise. He hadn't died and he was still looked the same age as he did when she left.

He had outlived almost everyone on the teams. With the exception of Megan and Connor.

They visited frequently. All of them were confused as to how he was still alive, they eventually figured that (Y/n) had something to do with it.

Somehow. Somehow he would get her back.
