Mal's POV
Wow. Back to the Isle so soon. Very...comforting. I can't shake the feeling of trouble. It just. Gah! It's crawling up my back. I don't really know how to explain it completely. *sighs* I sigh deeply. Well at least I have Evie and my friends here. Can't be so bad. Everyone feared us. Or did they just fear our parents? Stop. I need...I need to..walk. I'll just go walk. Calm down. Maybe, if I can, I'll snoop around a bit. We've missed quite a load of shit. As I grab my stuff and look around the small setting. Well look at all of them sleeping. "See something you like...?" Evie asks opening one eye to look at Mal's reaction. " Ha. Ha. Of course, " Mal says grinning. Evie gasps at that and sits up. " look at my art up on that wall." Mal finishes. Evie rolls her eyes and scoffs turning away from Mal. "But of course there's you too. You silly girl." Mal said. Evie smiles wickedly. The red rushes to her cheeks. Evie is now standing over Mal looking mischievous. " Hey M?" Evie called out. " Hmm?" Mal asked. "Can I kiss you?" Evie asked looking up and down at Mal's lips, then eyes. Evie placed her hands on both sides of Mal. Leaning in, but not fully. She raised an eyebrow. " Aw. What kind of question is that Eves?" Mal asked. Evie smiles and takes up the space where the air used to be. " Aww. That was cute you two." Lonnie said smirking. The mentioned girls found everyone awake and watching them. " Next time not here though." Jay said. " Ugh. You're lives together are such a movie. I think I'd definitely watch." Carlos said. They all clapped whilst holding back slight laughter. Mal and Evie both bowed. Both were a little flushed at what had just happened. " So when do we go out into the "wild"?" Lonnie asked. " I thought you were "quite frightened" . " Mal said. " Yeah..well NOPE! Let's go." Lonnie said excitedly walking out the doors.
Lonnie POV
Yup. No shit I wa-am god damn fucking terrified. I'm still scared. I kind of wish Jane was here. Her little body. Happy and cheery spirit. Even when she knew life was complete shit. I don't know. I just miss her. I guess. She was my roommate. I shrugged at that. *shrugs* " Woah Lon are you high? Stop randomly shrugging and listen man." Jay said. " Jay, that's not correct, nor nice." Carlos said. " Since when are you nice?" Stranger asked. " Screw off!" Mal shouted. The stranger shrugged and walked away. Lonnie bumps into a stranger. Umpf. " Hey watch it man." Lonnie tried to sound bad, but it came out sweet. "S..s..sorry. I..I didn't mean too." The girl said shyly. " So what's your name kid?" Lonnie asked. "My name? It's Harold." Harold said following Lonnie along. "Harold?" Lonnie asked eyeing her up and down. "I would allow my friends to call me Hannah, but I don't really have friends." Hannah said. "It's alright Hannah." Lonnie said. "Who's that Lon?" Evie asked curiously. "Oh. Erm. New friend. Is it alright if she comes with us? She doesn't seem like much danger." Lonnie said. "She can come along, for now. We'll see how she is I guess." Mal said. " I'm pretty sure she has a name M." Jay said. " So what's your name?" Carlos asked. They turned into a small alley to talk. " My name is Harold, but I'd prefer you to call me Hannah." Hannah said. " That's kinda messed." Jay said. Carlos glared at Jay. "Sorry.." Jay apologized. "How does a cute girl like you get the name Harold?" Lonnie asked. She realized what she said. Fuck. She's cute, but I didn't mean to say it just like that. Hannah blushed. "It's just my dad. He wanted a son and well He got one, but after me. My brother is Harold The Second. I dunno? It's an alright name just I like Hannah." Hannah tried to explain. " I'm sorry. I said a little too much, huh?" Hannah giggled. Wow. That's at an alarming range of unnecessary cute, and I can't take it. "It's alright, we all got shitty lives. Am I right? We probably would've asked you anyway. Good to know." Mal said. "Yeah. I like Hannah." Evie said. " Not more than me though Eves." Mal said and pulled Evie close. " Aww. That's cute." Hannah said. " I know right!" Carlos exclaimed. They all left the small alley and walked around some more. Got to know each other a bit more. Meanwhile.
Jane's POV Auradon prep
I miss Lonnie so much. I never got a chance to talk to her. Not just talk. No this was important. But now I lost her. Ahh! Why? So stressing. I'll stay positive. For her, I know she'd like that. I need to see her again.
"Mom?" Jane asked. " Yes, child?" Fairy godmother asked. " So um. What if I need to get to the Isle of the Lost?" Jane responded. " Now why would you want to go there child?" Fairy godmother questioned (her life decisions). Ha sorry excuse me. I'll just leave now. Opens and walks out door. " Well mom..It's for a project. I want to study the Isle. Can I just go? Like a field trip." Jane said trying to find the correct words. " Jane, you know it's dangerous. I don't know." Fairy godmother said. " Mooooom. Just please." Jane pleaded. " Well... Alright my child. If it's for the benefits of learning." Fairy godmother said. " Or love." Jane murmured. "What was that darling?" Fairy godmother asked. "Nothing I'm just really happy." Jane said. They were right about her. She changed a lot. My own mom. I'm lucky right now. Mom would never had let me go. I just hope my luck doesn't run out. In just a week or two I'll see Lonnie. I'm bursting with excitement. I can't possibly contain it all.
Back on the Isle
Lonnie shrugs. *shrugs* " What did I say about that shrugging man?" Jay asked. " I can't. I like shrugging and I'll shrug whenever I want." Lonnie answered. " Shhhhs! Go ahead Hannah. I'm still listening unlike these knuckleheads." Evie said and Mal turned at that. " Aw, what happened to M?" Mal smirked. " It's not that important Evie. I was just saying my dad's name is Hans. Kinda weird right?" Hannah said. " I guess it's a bit odd." Evie pondered. " Wait, Hans?" Lonnie asked. "Yup. You know how that is." Hannah said. "Totally." Mal said. " That must be pretty cold man." Jay said. Carlos elbowed Jay. " Ow!" Jay huffed out. " You poor thing." Lonnie said and pulled Hannah in for a comforting hug. Hannah snuggled against Lonnie's chest. "How about you stay with us tonight?" Lonnie asked not just to Hannah, but to everyone else. Mal nodded and Lonnie breathed calmly. " That would be fantastic! Since I don't have anywhere to stay." Hannah answered.
