Me

I'm just me.

Overemotional,

dreamy,

excited by everything me.

Thoroughly blazing, full of fire

Anything I see I simply admire.

But I can't shine forever

I have to clear my vision whenever

And begrudgingly be clever.

But maybe I don't want to be clever.

No, I want to be blind

And leave all those fears and doubts behind.

I'm well, just...me.

Kid who isn't supposed to worry so much

And think those thoughts,

Cause I just want to feel Love

Lots and lots.

Some people themselves dim our light,

Which shines within us.

During those starry nights

All I think is fight, fight, fight and shine.

"You're undisputedly divine,

You create your own storyline."

I repeat to myself over and over again.

But is it the truth?

To pursue all dreams of mine

World and I need to align.
