Two whole years had passed since the moment that you had met one another, and you and Brian were still going strong. Every single day he would wake up and show you how much he loved you, whether it be with breakfast in bed, or even a morning session before you needed to get up for work.

One Friday morning, Brian woke you up by pulling his weight on top of you. He placed a soft kiss to your lips, making you stir awake, being met by his luscious brown eyes. He smiled, as his teeth nibbled at his lower lip. His arms coiled underneath your shoulders, as he held you tightly in his clasp. He Eskimo kissed you, the tip of his nose lightly brushing against yours, making you giggle.

"I want to take you out tonight, so be ready by six, Beautiful." He announced, not even giving you the chance to respond, as his lips soon locked with yours. He kissed you deeply, before turning to face the clock. "Shit, I have to be on set in twenty minutes. You don't think they'll mind if I don't shower, right?"

"Bri, I love you but my God, you always need a damn shower." You joked, causing Brian to chuckle. He stood up from the bed, patting your ass, before making his way over to the dresser. He dowsed himself in deodorant and aftershave, as he slipped on a pair of jeans and his Batman tee, and shoving his flat cap onto his head. He kissed you goodbye, before speeding out of the door. You heard the front door shut, as you sprawled out across the bed. You had an extra half an hour until you needed to get ready for work, so you remained still, just thinking about Brian.

After a long day at work, you dragged yourself home. You stepped through the front door, and quickly made your way upstairs to get ready for the evening. You had no idea what Brian had planned, but you knew that if it was anything fancy, he would have told you. So, after having showered, you dressed yourself in a smart but casual attire. You wore some skinny grey jeans, alongside an oversized sweatshirt with your favourite movie series graphic on the front. Just as you were styling your hair, Brian entered the room. He smiled, not uttering a word, as he walked straight through into the bathroom. You were slightly concerned, perhaps it had been a surprise punishment day for him, or maybe he had lost the challenge for that day? Typically, Brian would always greet you with a kiss...something had to be eating away at him.

"Babe, is everything okay? You seem out of sorts..." You asked him, as he returned into the room after his shower. He nodded his head, but he still wasn't speaking. Normally, it was a struggle to get him to keep quiet for a second. He walked over to you, pulling you into a hug, as a kiss was placed to your cheek.

"I'm fine. I'll meet you downstairs in ten minutes, Baby. Love you." He spoke, as you reluctantly nodded your head. After having known him for the time that you had, you knew when not to push him for an answer. You grabbed everything you needed for the evening, before heading out of the room and downstairs to put your sneakers on.

As soon as Brian knew that the coast was clear, he slipped a crumpled piece of paper out of his jean pocket. He hated lying to you, but in order to pull tonight off, he had to do it. He hadn't been to set all day, in actual fact, he had gone out ring shopping with Joe, before planning for tonight. Joe had offered his support and wished him good luck, before Brian had to get home to get ready. Brian read through his words on what he wanted to say, as a text came through from Murr and Sal.

Murr: Wanted to wish you good luck for this evening buddy! You guys are made for one another! :)

Sal: Good luck tonight, Bri. You got this!

Brian sent out a quick thank you, not wanting to wait any longer. He shuffled his way down the stairs, as you stood by the door, wrapping your coat around you. He leaned passed you, grabbing his jacket, as the stench of aftershave made its way up your nose.
