"I'm sorry...I just seem to be annoying you." I said rubbing the back of my neck looking at the ground.

"You're not annoying, it's just hard to explain." Avery as she looked at me with a smile. "Oh shit!" Avery suddenly yelled as she hopped up and ran into the kitchen.

"What happened?" I asked as I watched Avery run off.

"Oh nothing. I think she almost forgot the food in the oven." Alec said as Avery came back in.

"Oh ok...oh I forgot to ask, who was the pink haired young lady?" I asked him sitting back down on the couch.

"Oh that's Emilee. She's nice too." Alec said as Avery came back with four plates of food.

"So it's just you three here? Thank you." I said taking the plate Avery handed me.

"No there's one more person and you're welcome." Avery said just as someone came through the door.

"Oh ok...hello." I said looking up at the man that walked in the door after finishing the food in my mouth.

"Oh hey...who's he?" The guy asked glancing down t me before looking at Avery.

"That's Ahio. We found him unconscious in a clearing earlier." Avery said as the guy shut the door behind him.

"I don't plan on staying too long, I'm going to leave to try and find my friends I got separated from." I said still eating.

"Need help finding them?" He asked with a raised eyebrow as he sat down.

"That would be greatly appreciated, thank you." I said putting my fork down on the now empty plate.

"It's the least we could do." Emilee said smiling.

"I have a picture of them if it will help you guys." I said pulling a drawing I had done of the princess and Lochleaim.

"Oh right, that's Leon by the way." Emilee said pointing to the man.

"Nice to meet you Leon." I said smiling at him.

"Likewise." He said with a small grin as glanced at me before looking at the picture.

"I hope it looks ok enough to be able to tell what they look like." I said.

"Yeah but I haven't seen them here...however, we can look for them." Leon said.

"Thank you...I'm just curious to that this place is. It's nothing like back home." I said thinking.

"Where are you from?" Avery asked as she looked at me.

"A place called Hemachandra...well the demon realm side of it anyway. I live with Lochleaim and the princess in the human realm side but that's not the realm I'm originally from." I said.

"Never heard of that...sweetheart, you're in the state of Georgia." Emilee said looking at me in concern.

"Georgia...I have never heard of that before. It surely isn't anywhere near Hemachandra or else I would know about it." I said sounding defeated because I realized was way farther from home than I first thought.

Avery frowned and wrapped an arm around me. "It'll be alright." She said.

"No it's not, as a demon general it's humiliating to get lost so easily." I said with a sigh leaning forwards and resting my face in my hands.

"...So you said there were different realms...maybe you're in a different universe?" Avery asked and received a weird look from Leon.

"Maybe, but I don't know how I would have gotten here. Surely that storm wasn't capable of doing this..." I said still keeping my head down.

"Well that was the last thing you remember right? Maybe that's why." Emilee said, receiving the same weird look from Leon.

"I guess, when the storm hit I got the princess and Lochleaim out of the way before the whirlwind that appeared hit them, then it suddenly changed course and hit me instead." I said finally lifting my head and looking at them.

"Well if you didn't do that, maybe those two would be here instead." Avery said looking at me.

"I guess, though I'm glad it was me and not them that got sent here. They have more important stuff to do back on Hemachandra than to be stuck in this weird world." I said with a sigh.

Avery nodded before looking up. "Oh crap...Gabriel." She said as her eyes widened.

"Nice to know my own mother forgot me." Another voice came from the entrance.

"Who's that?" I asked looking up at the young man that looked to be in his teens.

"That's my son Gabriel and I'm sorry. We were trying to figure out where he was from." Avery said.

"Wait who?" The boy asked as he came to stand in the living room and looked at me. "...Mom...we have told you many times...you cannot take in every single think that looks adorable to you." The guy said with a shake of his head.

"I didn't! We found him passed out in a clearing and doesn't know where his home is!" Avery said.

"Well technically I do know where it is...just don't know how to get there from here." I said quietly cutting in before going silent again.

"Oh...okay that's fine then." Gabriel said with a shrug as he slung his backpack from his shoulder.
