(Novaa's God Father)

The I didn't feel like heading to school so I locked myself in my room.
My mom had went to work with Cleopatra. I told her that I wanted to walk to school today and she said I could. She wasn't going to be home until eleven so I think I was good.
I felt my phone buzzing in my pocket so I grabbed and looked at the call id, My God father was face timing me, I smiled to myself and pressed the accept button and put my phone against books to help it stand
"Hi daddy" I cheesed
"Hey baby girl, how you doing ?" He asked as a huge smile spreaders across his face
"I'm good, I miss you" I shrugged
My God mother and God Father used to be best friends . That's why my dad picked them to be my new parents because he knew I'd have a great life with them. He always thought they'd end up getting married but I guess that all went down the drain when my God mom started sleeping with other men. They weren't together but you know...
My God father had got jealous and so heart Broken so he left the state. He visited almost all the time though so I was okay. But I missed having him live with us.
"I miss you too....but why aren't you in school ?" He scrunched up his face
"School is boring" I rolled my eyes
"It's boring because you don't talk to people. Come on make friends. You're going to regret it later on in life, make a best friend" he explained
"Like you and ma" I smirked
He chuckled
"Yeah I guess...just don't catch feelings" he scratched the back of his neck
"Tell me the story again" I pleaded
Every time I was with him I always begged him to tell me the story on how him and my God mommymet, it was so cute and made me want a best friend .
"I wish I could tell you now but I'm kind of late for a meeting, I'll call you later and tell the story okay ?"
I nodded
"Okay by baby girl , be good" he said as he hung up
I sighed and got up proceeding to the door. I just wanted to be alone for the day, I opened a closet door and layer the Mat inside of it out.
It was a small closet where you would store coats in but I use it as my relaxed spot.
I go in the closet closing the door after me then sat on the mat leaning my back toward the wall.
I loved dark right quiet spaces where I could be alone without no one to disturb me. It was honestly the best feeling
A few minuets into relaxing I got a call. I never got calls unless it was my God daddy and I knew he was at a meeting...
I looked at the caller Id and it was Cleopatra's son. I immediately pressed decline and went straight to the iMessage
Novaa- Stop calling me
Jahseh- You just gon hang up like that
Novaa- what do you want 🙄
Jahseh- Why weren't you in school
Novaa- I didn't want to go. Leave me alone now
Jahseh- Sadly I can't . Both our parents are at my house right now
Novaa- No my mom is working..
Jahseh- No they aren't dumbass, did I not just say they were at my house 😐 anyways they're with this other mom and her daughter..and I'm being forced to get you so you can meet them
Novaa- no not going, bye
I shut my phone off and walked out my closet since I was annoyed and sat on my living room couch
