Not so important but very important note, hehe. Since the majority of you guys are opposing at Keith's role, I have decided to change the cast. From Jung Jaewon to Park Jimin (Sa katotohanan talaga niyan ay bias at mahal na mahal ko si Jimin kaya hindi ko siya kayang gawing cast kaya it feels as if I sacrificed him, charot lang)

Janine's POV

"You'll not gonna make it on the midterm exam if you just sit like an idiot and listen like a dumb." Sermon sakin ni Ziggy.

Okay nakaka-asar siya, pero wala naman akong magagawa kundi ang tanggapin ang mga sermon niya na kanina ko pa tinitiis pakinggan.

"Okay now tell me have you learned something?"

"Isn't it obvious? Of course I have." Pero ang totoo ay ni-isa sa mga tinuro niya ay hindi pumasok sa utak ko.

"Then anu-ano 'yong mga' yon? Enumerate each."

"Ugh. Why even enumerate each, ang mahalaga may natutunan ako."

"Nakaka-asar ah."

"Then get out of my house! Hindi na lang ako aattend ng midterm exam."

"Hindi pwede, dapat pumasa ka. Ako ang malalagot kay Ms. Valerie." Marahan nitong sabi.

"Edi maganda!" Tuwang-tuwa kong sigaw habang masiglang pumapalakpak.

"The last time I saw you laughing was when we were at the amusement park, I wish I could make you that happy again."

Agad akong napabalikwas mula sa aking pagkakatawa at isang napakalakas na katahimikan ang bumalot sa kwarto, ramdam ko ang mabilis na pagtayo ng mga balahibo ko at mabilis na pagtibok nang aking puso.

"W...what are you talking about?" Bakas sa boses ko ang kaba at gulat.

"You know what I'm taking about. Are you really happy with your current life and relationship?"

"What an absurd question. Of course I am."

"Look, if you're still teed off because of the things I had done to you, I'm sorry... I am very sorry. I can apologize million times just to hear your forgiveness. I want you to hit me or even blurt out severe words toward me to express how much you despise the hell out of me. Maybe in that way I will be rest assure that you can still forgive me."

Saglit akong natigilan habang pinapakinggan ko ang mga sinasabi niya, marahang tumulo ang aking luha kasabay ng pagdaloy sa aking isipan ang araw na hindi ko siya binigyan ng pagkakataong ipaliwanag ang kaniyang sarili. Nakatalikod ako sa kaniya kaya hindi niya pansin ang mga luhang patuloy sa pagdaloy mula sa aking mga mata.

"N...not now Ziggy. Uhm pwede ka na palang umuwi, wag kang mag-alala I will restudy the rest."

"Good luck satin sa midterm tomorrow." Kaswal siyang ngumiti ng parang walang nangyari saka siya lumabas ng kwarto.

"Oh my god I did it! I passed the midterm!"

I hug Ziggy who's happy because he got the highest score, didn't expect that right? An awkward silence invades the atmosphere as we let each other go from a hug. I gauchely smiled before Ms. Valerie called me as well as Ziggy.

"Janine and Ziggy go to my office." Ms. Valerie politely ordered.

We made our way to her office and it's still awkward as hell. I don't know what made me this timid to start a conversation. I wasn't used to be this tremulous when I was with him these past few days.

"So, congrats. You almost perfect the midterm." He stated.

"Uhh thank you. Congrats din, ikaw lang naka perfect ng exam."

Why am I acting like this?! I'm obviously uncomfortable with this conversation.

Nakahinga naman ako ng maluwag ng marating na namin ang office ni Ms. Valerie. Pareho kaming pina-upo sa dalawang magkaharap na upuan.

"Congrats to the both of you and you Ziggy." Saka siya humarap kay Ziggy. "Kagaya ng pinangako ko, exempted ka na sa pre-final!"

"It's a deal by the way." Nakangising saad ni Ziggy.

[AN: Kasing edad lang po nila si Ms. Valerie]

"I think so, but you still owe me your exempted pre-final."

"No, we made a deal. If she passed the midterm exam then that means I'm exempted in pre-final." Kampante niyang saad while his arms were crossed.

"Oh dear don't be mad at me. I'm just joking around, you know how I badly want to see your face being teased." She giggles while her eyes were twinkling.

Dear? What the heck?! Where the f*ck did she get that filthy endearment?! I mean that's so gross and nasty. And why are they this close? Don't they know that their behavior is immoral?! A teacher is flirting with her student, ugh that's disgusting! Ooops my bad, I mean Keith also did that.

But honestly, why am I acting like this?! I shouldn't care but why am I paying heed to them.

"Sorry to interrupt you guys but I have to go." I awkwardly said.

"Oh I'm sorry Janine. You can go now." Nakangiting tugon ni Ms. Valerie.

Ngumiti muna ako bago ako lumabas ng room. Bakit apektadong-apektado ako sa landian nung dalawang 'yon? Ugh this feeling sucks.

"Wait wait wait Janine. Are you going home? Sabay na ako." Sabi ni Ziggy na nagmadaling tumakbo para habulin ako.

"Uhm I actually have a date with Keith this afternoon." I stated and once again an awkward atmosphere overrun the entire hallway.

"Then I'll drive you there."

"N...no, you don't have to."

"Hindi okay lang."

"Hindi na nga kailangan kasi naghihintay na siya sa tapat ng gate."

Bakas sa mukha niya ang kahihiyan at pagkadismaya.

"I'll get going." Ngumiti ako ng tipid bago umalis.
