"what's that?" I look at him, sitting back on the couch
"You remember Trina right?"
"I mean yeah .. how could I forget, first love" I look at him
"You ever think that yall could've worked out?" He looks at me
"Honestly .. No" I sit up "only because we were so young and we probably don't have the same interests anymore. We were already two different people"
"I get that, so why are you putting yourself in all these different situations. I understand you and diamond are on a break but did you ever think that yall are dragging this & are loosing interests?" He gets up to get his water
I turn around and look at him. I know he has a point if I think about it.
"Yes .. I think about that constantly especially since we're going to college"
"You can do something about it though J, by making sure she feels special this summer. Not this break shit my man"
"Yeah ..." I sigh
"I think you just want your cake & eat it too. You're being selfish. Especially to Diamond. Don't you know if she knew half the shit you we're doing. Y'all would be done?"
"I know man" I look at him .. I mean he is right after all. If I lose her for good. I'm going to be ruined

"Hey .." I say on the phone
"Hi." She says back to me
"Look I've been thinking .." she cuts me off
"I have too .. look I love you so much Jen Jen but I really cannot do this with you anymore"
"What .. what" I take a breath
"We keep doing this thing and I don't want it. Keep it" she hangs up
I stare at my phone in disbelief and wonder as to what I'm suppose to be now. Some would call this karma for wanting to fuck with other bitches instead of just loving on her. I can't allow myself to think like this though.
"King .. you wanna take a trip?" I ask
"You know I'm down for whatever JK"
"Alright .. lets roll"
