"You know, same sex marriage has been legal here since 2014," you drawl.
I pause my game, shifting so I can look at you. "Yeah...we've already celebrated that."
You shake your head. "Why don't we really celebrate it? Let's get married."
"So a drunken wedding ceremony at an LA hotel doesn't count anymore?" I playfully say.
"Of course it does. But we can invite our friends this time, and have a lesser crazy person marrying us, someone who can legally marry us"
