Guys. Request more sadness. Writing sadness is fun. Just request lots and lots of angst and sadness. XD
Your POV:
You had become quite close with Sans and Flowey as you three navigates through the underground. You had decided not to leave them behind, and stay here with them. The underground had been abandoned, as everyone else had jumped at the chance to leave when Frisk died, but Sans refused to leave Frisk's grave, as did Flowey.
One day, upon encountering a rare monster, you died. Tears streamed down Sans' face. He cried out in agony as you died painfully.
You were faced with a choice. You chose wrong.
RESET.
You suddenly appeared back where you last touched the weird sparkly things. Sans and Flowey stood beside you, looking sad. They gasped.
"Y-Y/n!" Sans said, rushing over and hugging you.
"How are you alive?!" Flowey exclaimed.
"She reset." Sans said, as if it made all the sense in the world. Then, he pulled away.
Flowey gasped, and Sans stood, paralyzed. He eventually gently brushed a flower over your left eye away. It bounced back.
Now was the repeat of Frisk's death.
Every time you reset, another red flower would appear on your face. You tried to get rid of them, but rolling then out wouldn't work. They were a part of you now.
It wa just after your 104th reset that Sans, Flowey and you knew the next would be the last. Sans tried to protect you, but anytime he was about to get hit, you would take it for him, dying anyway.
You spent your last reset walking around the long ago abandoned Waterfall with Sans, just taking in the view.
"I love you, Y/n. Please don't leave me." He whispered in your ear sadly as you two sat on a rock and watched the water cascade down the rocks.
"I won't." You had promised him.
You had promised.
That next day, a weak, dying monster came up to you and started to attack. It was out of its mind, and you pityed it, keeping your guard down. You were one turn from winning peacefully, when one measly attack hit you straight in the soul. Pain tore through your body, and you fell to your knees in agony.
Sans' wails of sadness made you equally as dismal, as you stood before the options again. You wondered what would have happened if you had chosen the other, but it was too late now.
Sans clutched your lifeless hand as your soul left you body, while Flowey killed the monster that had caused your demise. You smiled softly at them. You would miss your buddies.
Sans' stupid puns, and Flowey covering his non existent ears so as not to hear them.
Flowey's initially cold demeanor, and then the vulnerable, sweet boy inside.
You would miss it all dearly.
Then, years after you died, and your body had long since been buried, and a stone placed above it; "Here lies Y/n L/n. May her kind soul live forever in our own.", another human fell.
Another little girl. You gently woke her after she fell.
"Who are you?!" She asked you, terrified.
"You can see me?" You asked, overjoyed. After that day, you helped guide the girl through the ruins, avoiding all the places you'd died. Eventually, you got to the doors of Snowdin. You noticed tears streaming down you face ad you saw your own gravestone partly covered in snow. You saw the very same jacket Sans has given you even you first met, placed on top of the stone.
Some red dlowrts had been set on the snow in front of it, as well.
The little girl looked at it, then at you, understanding in an instant.
"You're a ghost, aren't you?" She asked softly. You nodded silently.
"Could you please do me a favor....?" You asked, placing one hand on your true love's jacket. She nodded.
After a few hours of carrying the jacket, you led the girl to Sans' house.
"Tell him.....I miss him." You said sadly, watching as the girl knocked on the door.
"Y/n?" Your love asked as he opened it, and spotted the little girl. She shook her head. She handed Sans the jacket, tearfully.
"She t-told me to tell y-you that she m-misses you." The girl sobbed as Sans took the jacket, shocked. Sans choked back tears as well, and hugged the girl. You patted Sans' shoulder, and he shivered.
Over the years, the girl, whose name was Rose, moved in with Sans, and you discovered you could let them see you sometimes. Not very often, and not for long, but you cherished it. Even when they couldn't see you, you left notes around the house, and watched over them.
"I miss you too, Y/n." Sans cried on one of his bad days, where your death overwhelmed him. You noticed tears slipping down your cheeks as well, but you rushed over and hugged him tightly.
"I will never leave you, my love." You whispered into his ear, crying.
