the flame flickered,
her expectations turned to ashthe scarlet drop fell from her lip,
and rested on her thighshe tried to smile,
but the pain took oversalty tears stained her cheeks
stinging her bruisesshe thought a crusade was what she assembled
an anarchy was what the naive girl truly had
piece by piece that anarchy broke, leaving it's pieces to sting
she closed her eyes,
and slipped into darknessnever opening her eyes again,
at least not as widethe flame flickered,
and the red hood burnedbetrayal/naïvety
