They looked from the gateway and to each other a few times. This is really something, thought Tyler in disbelief. He had to shake his head a couple oftimes.

"Should we go check it out?" asked Samantha.

"It looks very empty in there," said Tyler

"We still have a lot of creating to do," murmured Samantha. It was almost as if she was in a trans.

"Did we actually do it? I thought we were going to think about it."

"It looks to me like we did it. We are just that amazing, I guess."

"Does this make us gods?" wondered Tyler out loud.

"Let's not get ahead of ourselves. All we've done is create a gateway to what appears to be nowhere... an empty World, at best. Let's see how awesome we can make it before we take the god leap," smiled Sam.

"Shall we?"

"Yes." They held hands as they leapt from the railings and into the water below. They went right through the gateway and into an empty world. Samantha shivered as she looked into the emptiness. It looked much like a giant white piece of paper. Not dark or light necessarily... just...nothingness.

"Where should we start?"asked Samantha.

"Maybe we should take turns.... Any ideas?"

Samantha thought very hard for a little while. She wanted their New World to be beautiful beyond anyone's imagination. Peaceful. Kind. Loving. She started with the creation of jungle-like plants, similar to what you might find in the rainforest in the Human World. She pictured what she wanted, with all of their intricacies, in her mind. She kept her eyes closed as she started to wave her hands in the air and slowly spin in a circle. She could picture different layers of canopies, vines, tree trunks.... Each species of plant took form in her mind's eye and she transferred the information into this reality. Intricate details on cellular levels. Chemical reactions that would need to take place for the plants to live.

Of course, the needs of the plants necessitated the creation of a water source and a sun. Before she created these, she peaked an eye open to glance at what she'd done. She took in a gasping breath as she looked around her, no longer peeking, but staring in wide eyed wonder. It was, indeed, the most amazing place she's ever seen.

She looked at Tyler and saw that his expression mirrored her own. "Wow," he whispered. "So, so beautiful...."

"We need water," she whispered.

Tyler nodded and closed his eyes. He envisioned the most glorious, misty waterfalls that cascaded into beautiful pools of clear blue water. He saw sand at the bottom of the pools and rocks. He saw fish swimming and various other watery life forms. As he'd seen Samantha do, he waved his arm through the air and pushed magic from his body like an artist might wield a paint brush.
