A wedding yay!

Hint the sarcasm.

My best friend, and also the guy I'm hopelessly in love with, Charlie Puth, invited me to his friend Shawn's wedding.

I love Shawn and all but weddings are got my scene. But when Charlie asked me to be his plus one to the wedding I was very excited! I mean I am technically Charlie's date. But honestly the whole night didn't go how I wanted it to.

Charlie and I arrived at the wedding early. We helped set up the tables and I helped with the brides makeup and all. Charlie was Shawn's best man so he had to be there early.

-time skip to after the ceremony-

I was talking with Charlie by the food tables when I heard a beautiful angelic voice.

"Oh my god! Charlie is that you?" A woman with beautiful curves, a baby blue tight dress, and beautifully pale skin.

Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene

"Jolene?!" Charlie turned around and hugged the beautiful woman.

"Oh my! It's been forever! You look even better than back in high school!" She flirted.

Damn even she can flirt.

I'm beggin' of you please don't take my man

"You to! You look fantastic." He looks her up and down making me feel insecure.

I'm never going to look like that. I'm fat and ugly. Of course they will be together. Beautiful always go together.

Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene

Charlie talks with the auburn haired girl making me feel like nothing, investable. Did he forget I was here?

"Oh y/n! This is one of my friends form high school." Charlie finally noticed me.

I put on my best smile.

"Hi I'm y/n nice to meet you." I held out my hand.

She looked at me then my hand in disgust. She cleared her throat and went back to look at Charlie.

Oh please don't take him even though you can

Right then I felt very unwanted and weird so I left. I tried getting Charlie's attention back but he seemed so infatuated with her, so I just ran. I ran to the bathroom and tried to clean myself up.

I looked in the mirror and started to compare my body to hers. She so much more sexier than I'll ever be.

Your beauty is beyond compare with flamin' locks of auburn hair with ivory skin and eyes of emerald green.

I wash my hands and exit the bathroom. I try to find my "date" Charlie but he's nowhere to be found.

I look around a little bit more to see him with Jolene on the dance floor. They smile at each other she she whispers something in his ear and he laughs. Then she did something I could never forget. She kissed him. I looked away, trying not to cry.

Your smile is like a breath of spring your skin is soft like summer rain and I could not compare to you Jolene

The announcer goes up to the microphone and tells everyone to go to there assigned seats. I find my name right next to Charlie's. I sigh in relief when I don't see Jolene's name. I take a seat in my chair and wait for Charlie.

Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene

A couple minutes go by and everyone but Charlie and this other guy named, Joe, have made it to there chairs at our table. Then I see Charlie walk over laughing with Jolene. Charlie sits down and so does Jolene. Right next to him. Everyone looks at her, knowing she wasn't supposed to sit there.
