Daniel - Nobody gotta know

“y/n, this is Daniel. Daniel, this is y/n” my boyfriend, Mike introduce to his friend.

“Nice to meet you. Mike talked about you so much” Daniel laugh.

I also laugh looking at Mike who give a death stare to Daniel.

“I better be going or my coach will make me run around the field” Mike said.

“Good luck, babe. You’ll win this game!” I plant a kiss on his cheek.

“I’ll need that luck” he wink at me “oh and don’t do anything to y/n or you’ll be regret, Seavey!” he said as he run to the changing room.

I walk to the chairs and take a seat.

“Can I sit here?” Daniel point the chair next to me.

“Sure. So you come alone?” I look at him.

“Actually, I came with the boys but they play tonight. I asked my girlfriend to come with me but she can’t, busy as always” he fake laugh

“Oh. So you know Mike from baseball team?” I ask him.

“Yeah” he answer.

“Why you don’t play tonight?” I ask curiously

“My leg still healing from the last game” he explain.

“Get well soon then” I smile.

“Thanks” he smile back.

Finally the game is over with Mike’s team winning. I see him running to the field to take a photo with his team. When he see me, he grin and wink. I smile back at him.

As usual, after the game I wait him in front of the changing room. I was about to walk to the changing room when my phone vibrate.

We have a sudden meeting. Don’t wait for me. Sorry babe. Love you

That means Mike can’t drive me home. My dad is still out town, so I call my mom to pick me up.

*on the phone*

Y/n: hey mom. Can you pick me up? Mike has a sudden meeting

Mom: I’m sorry honey. My assistant just called me, they changed my meeting schedule. I’m on my way to the airport now. You have your key right?

Y/n: yeah sure. Well ok

Mom: you can ask your friend or just take an uber ok?

Y/n: I’ll take uber. Safe flight mom!

Mom: thankyou. And you can eat outside. I didn’t cook. Bye sweetie

Then she hung up. I sigh, looking at my phone screen as it went off.

“Um I heard your conversation, I don’t mean to eavesdrop. I can drive you home” Daniel said softly.

“No. It’s ok. I’ll take uber” I shook my head.

“It’s pretty late. You’re alone,it won’t safe. I don’t want to anything happened to you. Don’t take a risk. C’mon” he convincing me.

Well he has the point, so I follow him to his car.

*car ride*
“I’m starving. Do you mind if we go eat first?” he ask while keeping his eyes on the road.
“it’s fine” I answer.
So we went eat in the chick- fill-a.

From there, we know each other. We text everyday. We get along really fast. He’s a really nice guy. When Mike has something to do so he can’t take me home, Daniel always take me home. We often have lunch together. Since Mike is the captain of the baseball team, we rarely have time together. I spend most of my time with Daniel.

I have passed my days without Mike which make me feel like I don’t have boyfriend. But Daniel always there for me. He’s always comfort me or make sure if I’m ok. He do things that Mike never do. Sometimes it makes me feel that we’re more than just a friend. He makes me feel like I’m wanted. He makes me feel that I’m someone special for him.

So what will we do? I was wondering how about watching movie since hardly ever meet.

I’d like to but my I can’t. My team will have a big match next week so I have to prepare for it. Im sorry babe. I promise I’ll make it up.

When he can’t make it, he always tell me the same lies. He always said that he’ll make it up which that’s a lie. And in this time Daniel make me feel special.

After that text, I turn off my phone. I fee; worthless. I want to break up with him. But I can’t. I still love him. I just lay on my bed, thinking about him and his activity that seems don’t have end. Tears start running down my cheek. I try not to cry, but I can’t.

Suddenly I hear a knock on my door. I quickly wipe my tears and get up.

“Hey” I greet a figure that’s standing in front if my door.

“Hey. Um.. are you ok?” he ask me.

“Uh yes. Why did you ask that?” I ask confused. I move a bit, letting him in.

“You didn’t reply my messages. You didn’t pick up my calls” he said. I can see worry in his eyes.

“I’m ok, Danny. I turned off my phone” I chuckled.

“Ok. But why did you cry?” he look me in the eyes.

“What? I didn’t cry” I look down.

“C’mon don’t lie with me. If you didn’t cry then why your eyes are watery and red?” he raise his eyebrow.

I sigh. Then I explain those Mike situation. There’s no use to lie with him.

“I’m sorry about that, y/n” he said softly, then hug me tightly.

“It’s not your fault” I mumble under his chest.

Then he pull away, but still holding my shoulder. He look me in my eyes deeply. I stare him back, diving in his beautiful blue eyes. His face come closer. He breath rapidly. His chest go up and down really fast. Our face just an inch right now. I can feel his breath. Suddenly he crash his lips into mine. I feel an urge to kiss him back.

I feel my whole zoo explode. When we pull away, he's staring at me.

"What Danny" I laugh.

"Just thinking. How lucky Mike for having you" he smiled.

I just look down, blushing.

"Um Danny, do you know that we're both cheating?" I whispered.

"Yeah. But I mean nobody gotta know right" he wink and smile widely.

Ayoooo guys. I hope you like it. Sorry for not updating recently. I had a school activity and they didn't allow the student to bring any electronic devices.
