*Kara's Pov*
Tsk! Juuuust great!
I thought sourly as I stared at the class bully.
"Hey Dan! I don't care if you call me an "Odd-ball" cause it's the truth, but Joey here ain't a "faggot"! Your just jealous that he gets all the attention!" I shouted at Dan keeping a good distance while trying to pass by him.
But unfortunately he was'nt finished with us just yet. "ha! Yeah right! Look at that skinny twig shivering like a leaf! Haha!" he says as he tries to grab him from me, failing only because I pulled Joey away from him before he could grab him. I started arguing with him and forgot the reason why were running. . . .
*Joey's Pov*
Not good! Not good! At this rate, we're all dead! I started to panic, not sure what to do! When ever Kara gets hooked up with a fight or an arguement, she wont be able to notice things around her! Why can't she be just cool and laid back like her twin? I look back to see the rest of the hallway turning darker and colder. I have to do someting! I have to get her atttention! "K-ka-kara? Kara!" I tried calling her while I slightly shake her elbow, only for me to back away from her elbow because of a deja vu feeling about the last time I was anywhere near her elbow. "Kara!" I tried again but I still could'nt get her attention. . . . That is until the lights above us shattered, making the hallway dim. . . .
*Kara's Pov*
Shit! I nearly forgot!
I thought as I stared at the hallway. "What the hell is going on?!?" I heard Dan asked but I did'nt answer him. "Kara! Let's run, NOW!!" was Joey's response to my shocked expression before I answered him with a nod of my head. Just as we were about to run, Dan blocked our way. "Dan?!? I don't have time for this! Move out of our way!" "No! Not until you tell me what's going on?!?" GREAT! I don't plan on letting this jerk come with us! "Kara, can't we just leave him here, pleeaaase!!!" says Joey who was trying to convince me in leaving the bully here. You have no idea how much I was considering his request, but no matter how much I hate this bully's attitude I can't just leave him in here with those creatures! "Grrr! Fine! Come with us! There is no time to explain in here!" I said to Dan as I also heard a shrieked "What?!?" from Joey. Before we know it, we were running out of the school. To make the situation even worse, the sky looked like it was about to let out some rain. Just perfect, don't you think?
