Cha. 4: It's Raining!

*Daniel's Pov*

What was that just now!?! First, I see oddball-Kara and Joey McFaggot running around like crazy, then the hallway is like it's about to have a storm, and now we are running out of school! what's going on?!?

None of these made sense to me. What were these weirdos running from? Usually they would act like this if it's with me and the rest of my gang, but even then, its more like they ignore us than run away in fear. "Hey, Oddball! Where on earth are we going?" I asked. Or demand. Meh, whichever works. I could have sworn I heard that worm whispered something to the freak.

"What was that, you worm?!?"

"Nothing!!" was the rushed response of that skinny worm. Humph! and now their ignoring me?!? Like hell that's gonna happen!!

*Kara's Pove*

Just right after Dan demanded where we were going, Joey whispered to me asking "Can we abandon him now?". I was'nt sure who to answer first. Dan who demands for an answer or my friend who is either a) wants to get rid of the bully. b) wants to go to a safe haven. c) go home and play video games while stuffing potato chips in his face. or a possible letter d) all of the above.

I did'nt get to answer all three questions, the third question being the odd quiz I had popped in my brain, because the bully screamed back at Joey, who in return replied with "nothing".

Just when I was going to stop and tell the bully to just go home, a lightning flashed with a low rumbling of thunder before it started to rain.

And I mean RAIN-rain.

Great, I don't want to have to sit here under the rain and listen to that jock-of-a-bully complain about his Rambo-hair-do getting all messed up just like the last time he got caught in the rain! I swear, it's gonna start anytime soon!

Before I'm gonna ever let that happen, I decided to give Joey's idea a try at abandoning the bully. While the bully seems a bit distracted with the sudden rain, I tugged at Joey's sleeve and jerk my head at a random direction as a sign of 'come on! Lets totally ditch that guy!'. Joey responds with a nod of his head, and we start running to the direction of my house. I was contemplating in going over to my brother's instead, but considering the fact that it's raining and his house is farther away than mine, I decided not to.

As we reached the front door of my house, Joey starts looking in all directions while I try to fish out my keys. I was'nt sure if he was looking around for the bully or those creatures that were following us. I'm not even sure if I should explain these things to Joey or if Kyle had already told him. . . .

Sigh! Kyle, you moron! Where are you and what have you done! Last I checked, Joey could'nt see any of these things! Why all of a sudden now?! Aha! Found it!

I mentally gave myself a little victory dance as I found the keys and opened the door. We went inside and take off our soaking wet jacket and shoes. Seeing as our clothes are soaking wet as well, I told Joey that he could use the shower in the spare room and that his clothes he left here since the last sleep over should be in one of the drawers.

"You kidding me? Those clothes have been in here for over a year! Do you think they would still fit me?" he says

"well now, it's not my fault you left them here and hey, if you wanna chill yourself to the bone in wet clothes, then be my guest! Besides, I don't think you've grown out that much!" I say.

"Oh alright, you meanie! But I'm still growing! humph!" he mumbles the last part and with a 'humph' (and you could also see him pouting), decides to go up the stairs to the spare room.

I went up the stairs as well after making sure the front door was locked. After reaching the 2nd floor of my house, I turned right, where my room was. The house I live in is'nt big and all. just your average house that has a kitchen, a living room, a bathroom for visitors, and 2 bedrooms with  bathrooms too.

As I reach my room, I headed straight to the bathroom to take a bath.

Now, there may be a few people wondering why my brother and I moved out of our parents house and all that. Well, simple: we didn't want them to worry or notice the strange things their children could only see. Yup, you got that right. We, my brother and I, did'nt get our little "reputation" for nothing. Sadly, my brother and I were a bit "gifted" in being able to see creatures that are supposed to no longer exist in the living world. We kept calling them that because we were'nt sure if they were once humans or not because of how. . . . oddly shaped they were. But there were times when we would see a few that looked normal, well as normal things can get with them. Between my brother and I, I was always the jumpy one. Especially if I turn around only to be greated with a sight that I am pretty sure NOBODY wants to ever wake up next to. Well now because of that, many people believe I have a syndrome or something. Sigh. Whoop de doo for me, eh?

Oh well, I guess that's enough about me for now. I have other important. . . . . matters to attend to. Hopefully no one else would get involved.

I finished taking a shower and decided to put on the first set of clothes I see in my closet before heading down stairs and to the living room where Joey would most likely be at.

*meanwhile back with Daniel*

*Daniel's Pov*

"YOU HAD GOT TO BE FREAKING KIDDING ME?!?!"

To say I was outraged was an understatement. I turn my back for one second to look at the sky in distaste only to look back and find nothing! I can't believe those two just left me here! When it's raining no less! After what happen in school, did those two creeps expect me to just shrug it off and forget that ever happened?! I don't think so! GRRRR!!

I let out a feral growl as I searched for the two. It should'nt be all that hard for me.

Sniff, Sniff. Heh, not all that hard at all.

I started heading to my next destination, and quickly. My hair is becoming a mess!

yeah, yeah, worry about your hair, you whiny bimbo. I'm pretty sure that won't be the only thing you'll be worrying your head off later on.

anywho, finally! a new chapter! sorry it took longer than usual. I got really sick, no thanks to my poor resistance. . . .

oh well for me!
