In this selfish, materialist world today, people hardly have time to perform random acts of kindness. I'm not saying that no one does it anymore but they number of people doing them is low. Everyone is obsessed with themselves and their loved ones. Helping others to get something from them is different. That is selfish too. If everyone of us found time to help someone, if not once a week, but at least a month, there would be a lot more joy and smiles around us. Because helping a random stranger, brining a smile to his face not only gets us his blessings but there is different kind of self satisfaction and it happens to make us better people.
