"HEY ed"

the boy blinked at her and opened his mouth. but nothing seemed to fall out. he always wondered what made him think twice about talking to her.

"eddie?" she asked, furrowing her eyebrows. he thought about what he would say. 'yo' he thought. eddie mentally rolled his eyes

"how do you know my name?" he wanted to smack himself at how stupid he sounded.

"you were in m-" her voice got cut off by a blonde boy

"vick, why are you talking to this loser?" she ignored him and was about to finish talking to eddie until the rest of her friends came over. she groaned as they pulled her away

"i'll see you later, eddie!" she screamed out from behind her, giving him on of her smiles and a wave.

truth was, she wasn't ever going to talk to him again. she wasn't even going to look at him ever again. because of who she was, and who he was.
