Tino's POV

"Mathais! Be careful with him, he's only a few days old," I cautioned, holding my hands out to catch Peter if he happened to fall. "Don't worry, I've got him," Mathias replied, holding Peter in the air like in the Lion King. "Haaaaaaaa saveeeeeeeeeniaaaaa... manamaninununaaaa... dududuuuuuu."

"Alright, that's enough playtime for Uncle Mathias," Lukas insisted, carefully grabbing Peter and holding him close, "It's my turn." "But you just had a turn!" Mathias argued, reaching to take his nephew back. "Please be-" I was cut off as they continued to argue, running between them as they passed Peter around.

Two long arms reached out, wrapping around both boy's necks, giving me the chance to grab my gurgling son back. "'s my son. Careful," Berwald warned, his icy blue eyes gently watching me as he continued to strangle them. "It's alright Ber, Peter's ok," I assured him, giving him a small smile.

Peter reached up and grabbed my hair, gently yanking it until I looked down at him. "What do you need?" I cooed, turning and leaving the others behind as I walked away. "Do you want a nap after all that playtime?" Peter yawned cutely, his little eyes and nose scrunching up. "I'll take that as a yes," I giggled quietly.

I took him to Berwald and I's room, where we relocated his crib temporarily, and gently laid him down. I slowly rocked the crib back and forth, watching as his blue eyes fluttered sleepily.

"It's alright, I'll still be next to you when you wake up," I whispered, leaning down to kiss his forehead. He whined in response, pulling my hair so I would stay close. "Fine, you cutie. I'll sleep next to you," I giggled.

I carefully got into the crib, thankful Berwald had insisted on getting a larger one, and laid down next to Peter. I pulled him close to my chest, his cute face pressed into my neck.

"Goodnight, my baby."

Berwald's POV

After choking Mathias and Lukas, I left them in the middle of the floor with Emil and went up to my room. I heard soft snores from inside so I slowly opened the door and poked my head in. I couldn't see Tino anywhere so I went to Peter's crib to check on him.

Tino was curled around Peter, quiet snores escaping him every so often. My heart melted into mush when I saw them there together.

I sat in the chair next to them and watched, the blonde fuzz on Peter's head moving with each of Tino's breaths. Listening to the steady rhythms of their breathing, I slowly drifted into sleep with them.
