Okay now this song, I can explain. From Shadows was used to introduce Blake Belladonna and a character, Adam Taurus, to the viewers.
The song is pretty much explaining how the Faunus (people with animal body parts) "will rise from shadows" and "take back" what the humans have stolen: their freedom and equality.
When the racism started, all the Faunus wanted was to "live their lives" in peace and equality, but the humans who think racism is necessary decided to start treating the Faunus badly. "Now in darkness;" the Faunus in a group called "The White Fang," will take "anything they want" and will stop at nothing to drag the humans down to the bottom of the pyramid. The song also points out the humans have been badmouthing the Faunus as well as other ways of hurting them; for example...
"Liars, killers, psychos, criminals, stupid, evil, etc." these words were used in the song, somewhere in the second verse.
In the video, Blake clearly had enough of it and bolted. A Faunus in plain sight with a little black bow as her disguise.
