"Let's go." I said.

"Mel, if you beat his ass again you're gonna be my new bodyguard." He said. She rolls her eyes as he places a kiss on her cheek. She took the gloves from him and he stepped off the mat. I chuckled at Mel's cute way of struggling to put her gloves on. I went to help but Brett stepped up and helped. His phone rang and he answered it. He walked off but Mel was too focused on him. He placed his phone back in his pocket and looked at me. He gave me a knowing look and I took off my gloves and went to grab my bag.

"Where are you guys going?" I heard Mel asked behind me. I reached my bag and opened it. I took off my shirt and turned to Mel who was desperately trying to avoid looking at my chest.

"Look, you were the one who said you didn't want to know this side of his job. I can't tell you anything because of that exact reason." I said. She crossed her arms.

"He doesn't even tell me when he's leaving just tells me to get into the car. He wants me either in his house or here. And if you don't tell me I will tell him exactly where we were last night." She said smiling. I felt my anger boil. I stepped dangerously close. I took a deep breath.

"Do not try to blackmail me. I am under strict orders to not say anything to you about this side of his job. Don't make me regret letting you help me." I breathed. I reached into my bag and grabbed out a new shirt and slipped it. I placed my bag back in my locker and glanced at her. She opened her mouth to say something but I turned towards the door then walked out. When I passed the punching bags I punched one using all my strength. I walked out the building to Brett's car and got in it. I sighed.

"Tomorrow I want you to take Mel somewhere fun. The movies, the park, a zoo, or mall, wherever she chooses. I don't want her to be in the house when I'm not there. And I can't have her at the gym when it's not guarded." He said.

"Why me? I thought I was leading the raid?" I asked.

"Because she only trusts a few people. Kevin has to go and David is keeping an eye on Creek. And because I said so. I don't want her unprotected." He said. He glanced at me. "And the next time you decide to be a double agent think again because you're not only risking your own life but Mel's too and I know you care about her. You are lucky I didn't kick your ass when I had the chance." He said.

"You know?" I said. He nods.

"I know which of my men are loyal. I know everything even when you don't think I do. If you weren't a trainer I would have you at my place but you are and I rather keep you at the base because Mel's there most of the time. And I can keep my eyes on you." He said. He sighed. "You guys got lucky last night. You know damn well my father wants Mel and bringing her straight to him wasn't smart." He said. I looked out the window.

"I didn't want to bring her either but I was out of options and she begged me. She is extremely smart." I said.

"Yeah well the problem with Mel is that she wants to help everyone out. She doesn't realize helping other people may leave her vulnerable. If she's not careful she will end up getting herself killed." He said.
