"y/n! NOW!" she pushes you back once more

you collide bodies with someone behind you as you fall on top of them. You stand up and rub the salt water out of your eyes

"I'm so sorry, my friend push-" you glance up to find the boy you were looking at early to meet eyes with yours

"it's fine" he laughs helping you up out of the water, you smile

"what were you guys arguing about anyway?" he asks looking over at her

"oh, um... well, this is gonna sound creepy but we were looking at you before and we thought that you were really good looking so we played odds on for one of us to come up to you and say that we think that you're hot, and well.. I lost" you blush and he smirks laughing

"well, you aren't so bad yourself" he says looking you up and down

"i'm y/n by the way" you smile

"I'm Ethan" he smiles back
