Bio: • Full Name: Cecilia Clarke • Other Names/Aliases: C • Gender: Female • Date of Birth: 12th April 1979 • Age: 23 • Birthplace: Durham, England • Occupation: Psychology Professor • Associations: Wammy's House; Boston University; LABB Murders Investigation
Physical Appearance: When she was young, Cecilia was small and scrawny. Her bones appeared paper thin and jutted out from under her pale skin. She wore simple, colourless clothes and was viewed as exceptionally ordinary. Her hair was a light brown and cut short, appearing shorter due to the way it curled, and bounced above her shoulders when she walked. Her eyes were like gravel, flecks of silver and grey welded together to make one iris, shining with a youthful sparkle. As she grew older, her body matured and filled out, becoming much more womanly, albeit still extremely thin. She hid her body from others using modest clothing, damaged both physically and mentally due to her time with Beyond. Her eyes lost their sparkle, seeming dull and lifeless to others, and were emphasised by the dark shadows under her eyes.

Backstory: Cecilia was the neglected daughter of a doctor and a junkie. She grew up in County Durham and attended an all-girls primary school. Her parents rarely socialised with her at home, so she fed her boredom by reading her father's medical journals, becoming adapt in the field of medicine, knowing far more than someone of her age group should.
After saving her mother from a fatal overdose one evening, both her parents was arrested for negligence and she was taken into protective custody. Quillish Wammy later took her under his wing after hearing of her exploit, deeming her smart enough to study at Wammy's House. There, she grew up alongside two other orphans, Adam and Beyond, the latter of which became eerily attached to her and vice versa. The pair delved into a more intimate symbiotic relationship some time later, Cecilia growing very dependant on Beyond due to the attention (although toxic) that he was giving her.
Inspirations: • Elizabeth 'Effy' Stonem (Skins) - Like Effy, Cecilia struggles with mental health brought on by trauma in her childhood. She hides her vulnerability beneath a very arrogant and aloof facade. Both girls also care a great deal for others, although neither may always show it, and Cecilia does what she can to aid those she loves
Relationships: • A considers her a close friend and confidante - much more trustworthy and kinder than Beyond. However, he finds her concern for him irritating and would prefer if she didn't invade his privacy • Beyond knows she is damaged and latches on that fact. He spends a considerable amount of time with her and can tolerate her more than the other orphans, but he does not respect her. Their relationship is more than just platonic but it is entirely devoid of love
Trivia: • The name Cecilia is derived from the Latin word coccus meaning blind/dim-sighted • Cecilia is a victim of the Jonah Complex (a psychological syndrome in which the sufferer fears their own success and avoids it, as Jonah avoided God in the Bible) due to A's suicide. She purposefully avoids achieving her full potential out of fear that she will stand out and will have to withstand the same pressures and responsibilities A faced as L's successor • In canon, C is mentioned to be a student at Wammy's but we know nothing about them (no gender, no age, no name, nothing - only that a child named C lived and studied at Wammy's). As such, I have built a character off of C but technically the existence of the C pseudonym belongs to Ohba and Obata [ THAT'S MY DISCLAIMER ]
