Chapter 11

The rest of the day was full of whispers and stares. People come up to me saying how 'amazing I am' just because I beat a low level demon. I sigh and sit back. I want the day to end already. Kagami had a guilty air around him. 

"You okay?" I ask, not sure why I care

"I'm just, so sorry for what I said" He says looking down, I sigh again

"Look, I said its fine its in the past don't worry about it" I say, he still looks sad I sigh and swallow the lump in my throat "This hasn't harmed our" I stop and take a deep breath "friendship or whatever" He looks up with shocked eyes.

"what?" I ask

"Friendship?" He asks, still staring at me,

"Yeah" I shrug, I see him smile, 

"Friends?" He asks with a smile

"That's why you've been bugging me isn't it, I already said I'd be your friend or whatever" I say, He smiles. He was about to say something when the bell went, Finally, I sigh getting out my chair and grab my stuff. 

"Walk with me?" Kagami asks, I nod. Walking out the door, something stops me, Kagami is in front of me and I pull him back "What?" He says, I put a finger to my mouth to shush him. He nods and I walk out,

'Duck' He says

'Huh?' I say back slightly confused

'DUCK' he screams, so I do and a pair of red scissors fly right above my head, if I hadn't have moved it would have hit me, I look up to see Akashi, I smile and stand up straight, 

"Kuroko!" Kagami yells running next to me

'Nice' I say to my friend, I'm extremely glad these conversations happen in my head.

'I'm on high alert' He says I smile.  I look back at Akashi who's glaring at me,

"Are you okay" Kagami asks me I nod, Looking up. Akashi stares at me as the rest of the group run up along with my brother, people crowd round.

"Think you need to work on your aim" I say with a small smile, he glares at me.

"Tetsu stop aggravating him" My brother says quietly, 

"Yeah, Bad things will happen" Riko says

"You really should be more care-" Kagami stops when he sees my face, I have my plain old expression but somethings different My brother backs up, They can't hear it, I can, the grounds shaking, trembling. Mirai tells me something that makes my blood boil and the ground shakes harder. I wasn't responsible for the ground shaking in the first place but I sure am adding to it. The group back away standing at my brothers distance, If looks could kill then Akashi would be a dead man, I see him shift as he stands. I need to finish this quick. "Yo" I hear my brother say, hes on the phone, He whispers something then smiles and hangs up. "Dads coming" He mouths, I sigh and return to my stare off with Akashi, He glaces at my brother, then smiles. This little psycho. In one swift moment he pulls out another pair of scissors, I see my dads car pull up and he steps out, I give him a look that says 'Stop' he does and watches I turn back to Akashi. In another swift moment he throws the scissors. 

At.

My.

Brother.

People scream, My stomach drops as I see the blade drawing closer to my brother. I didn't think, I just, ran. I ran towards my brother, luckily they didn't move that far away. Like I said I didn't think, so I just, Pushed him, not hard enough to trip him over but enough to move him. And put me in the line of danger. My hand moved on its own. I placed it in front of me. After a few seconds I felt a pain in my hand, Looking at the floor I saw blood, My blood. The scissors fall to the floor. I stare at my hand then back at my brother, "Still need to work on my aim?" He asks, I roll my eyes. "Whatever bitch" I say walking over to my brother, I hear him snarl, he really is like a dog. My brother smiles "You really are an idiot" He says, I smile back. He heals my hand as my dad runs up. "You okay" He asks, I nod and so does my brother. "Don't do anything, He'll turn on you" I say. Momoi screams and we all turn to her. They can all feel it now, the grounds shaking at an alarming rate. Even the rainbow gang look uneasy. "Are they on it?" I ask my dad quietly, he nods then sighs
