Murdoc crept downstairs, hoping to see 2-D in the living room. He noticed a bit of blue hair poking up at the edge of the couch closest to the window.

"2-D, is that you?" Murdoc asked.

"Y-Yeah..." 2-D sniffled, wiping away the tears from his eyes.

"Can I talk with you?"

"No! You'll just get angry with me!"

"I promise I won't! I'm not angry right now! I just..."

2-D shook vigorously, and hid his face as Murdoc stepped closer. "Don't hurt me!"

Instead of what he would usually do, like beating 2-D until he collapsed, Murdoc sat next to the blue haired man and hugged him. 2-D peaked through his fingers and looked at the bassist.

"2-D, you don't need to be afraid anymore." Murdoc said, still keeping 2-D in his embrace. "I know you wanted to date Russ, and that's fine. You know he doesn't love you the same way, but he does care about you. You do know that, right?"

"Yeah..."

Murdoc moved his hand softly up and down 2-D's back and kept silent, giving him the attention that he needed. 2-D lightly shoved him away, leaving Murdoc confused.

"What was that for?" Murdoc asked.

"You like Russel, so why would you do that to me?!" 2-D responded.

"I was comforting you!"

2-D sneered at Murdoc and grabbed a newspaper that was on the coffee table. He rolled it up, defending himself in case Murdoc tried attacking him. Murdoc widened his eyes a bit and stared.

"You wouldn't dare." He said in disbelief.

"Oh, I would."

Murdoc stood up. 2-D held up the paper like a baseball bat, ready to hit. Instead of getting into a fight, Murdoc went to the counter to get his cigarettes and walked outside.

"Face ache." Murdoc mumbled after he closed the door. He sat down, and realized he forgot a lighter.

"Great." He sat up and tried turning the doorknob, only to find it was locked.

"2-D, open the bloody door this instant!" Murdoc shouted, banging his fist on the door. "I know you locked it, now let me in!"

"Never!" 2-D yelled, walking upstairs.

"2-D, I'll kill you once I get this door open!"

No one came to open the door, so Murdoc impatiently walked to the back to see if one of the windows was unlocked. He tried every window, but none would budge.

"Nice try getting in, ya old goth!" 2-D looked down from one of the windows in the second story.

"2-D, ya dingbat, let me in! NOW!" Murdoc shouted.

"You molested me!"

"Wh- I- WHAT?! Molested?! I was just comforting you! Why in the WORLD would I molest you?!"

2-D shut the window and locked all the other ones on the second floor.

"That headache! Why is he accusing me of something I never did!" Murdoc said to himself as he stomped the front and angrily sat down.

Murdoc waited for, who knows how long, until a car pulled up in the driveway. He jerked his head towards the car as Noodle got out of the driver seat and Russel got out from the passenger side.

"Hello, Murdoc!" Noodle said, happily waving.

"Murdoc!" Russel ran over to him and gave him a hug. "You okay, cutie?!"

"That migraine of a singer locked me out because I somehow 'molested' him by comforting him! Then he threatened to hit me with a newspaper." Murdoc said, a tear forming in his eye.

"He didn't really say that, did he?" Noodle asked.

"He shouted the molesting part from the second story window in the backyard while I was still outside. He didn't really threaten my verbally, but from the way he acted when I stood up to go smoke he was ready to smack me across my face if I just tried give him another hug."

Russel looked at the door with a concerned look on his face. He hugged Murdoc close to him, making sure he was safe.

"I'm glad he didn't hurt you, though." Russel said before kissing Murdoc.

"Yeah." Noodle sighed.

"Where did you two go, anyways?" Murdoc asked, eyeing bags that Russel and Noodle were holding.

"Well, when we get inside we'll show you." Noodle said.

"You'll like what we got." Russel smiled.
