The moon has come out tonight, the stars were shimmering in the sky. My shoes were slightly soaked from the dewey grass at the park.
I tried to retain the nervousness inside of me, taking deep breaths.

I spotted Taehyung next to the swings of the park. There was a bitter expression on his face.

"Taehyung," I softly called, and walked closer to him.
He turned around, but the bitter expression remained.

I gulped, feeling more anxious.
The butterflies in my stomach were flying all over the place.
The stars shimmered in the night sky, a full moon was out.

There a second of pause between us, we just stared at each other's eyes.

Boom.
Boom.
My heart raced.

This feeling again ....
...when I'm with him...

"It wasn't your fault Jiyeon," Taehyung finally spoke."about what happened to Huisu."

I bit my lower lip, partly relieved about what he said but felt guilty.

He took a couple of steps closer to me.
Even though it was dark outside, I could still see that he was on the verge of tears.

Did I do something wrong?...or..

I gently held his face.
"What's wrong..." I softly whispered as I admired every single detail on his angelic face.

Taehyung lowered his eyes and silently cried.

"Hey...you can tell me...." I said and gently my lips onto him.
Taehyung didn't kiss me back.

He took a step back from me and his lips turned into a thin line.

A few minutes passed, and he finally opened his mouth.

"I'm sorry Jiyeon...but this isn't working.."

I blinked.
Is he saying what I think he is saying....?...

I nervously laughed. I tend to do that whenever I'm anxious.
My hands were shaking.

"Taehyung..w-what are you talking about..." I stammered, while gazing at his almond eyes.

I gently grasped onto his arm, praying for a reasonable explanation.

Taehyung avoided eye contact with me and pulled is hard from my grasp.

"....It's over........Jiyeon...I'm breaking up with you."

W-what..

My lower lip quivered as I heard his words.
I felt a sudden mix of emotions..sadness....
...frustration...and anger...

And anger.
I felt raging anger.
I clenched my fists and my nails dug into my palm.

That girl I came across yesterday..
...saying that she was his girlfriend..

I realized what was happening.
No words came out of my mouth.

Then I started laughing, uncontrollably.
I bent over, laughing.

Im such a fool...
...how did I not see it coming?

Taehyung seemed puzzled and hurt at my reaction.
"Jiyeon I—"

"I encountered a girl today, she said that she was your girlfriend," I said, with a emotionless tone.

Taehyung's eyes widened.
"How did you—"

"You lying bastard," I yelled at him, my whole body shaking.

"Jiyeon I need you to believe in me that she had nothing to do—"

I snorted.
Did he really think I was that dumb?

The girl I met today was surely prettier than me... and had money...along with a reputation......

Why wouldn't he cheat on me?
I'm a worthless piece of shit.

"Oh you don't have to explain Taehyung, I think I already know why," I snapped at him, barely holding in my tears.

Taehyung..
...you were my everything..
...you were the light of my life..

My eyes quickly got blurry with tears.
I felt a heavy feeling on my chest.

Taehyung took a step closer to me and grasped onto my right shoulder.
He looked at me with stern eyes.

"I don't love her it's just—"

I slapped his arm away.
"It doesn't matter anymore Kim Taehyung...I'm done with you anyways," I yelled at him, sobbing.

I was blind....
...blinded by his words....

He doesn't actually love me..
...I'm nothing but a trophy to him...
..he has another girlfriend..

I turn my back away from him and started walking back.
I almost tripped because my eyes were blurry with tears..I couldn't see the path clearly..

At that moment, everything went blurry.
I could hear faint words from Taehyung,but couldn't make out what he was saying.

Each step I took, my legs felt heavier and heavier. My body was cold and numb.

All I could think of was the girl, I kept replaying the image of the girl over and over in mind.
I imagined them secretly together and laughing behind my back.

How can he do this to me?

This only and me cry harder.

Just then, as I crossed the streets, I heard the faint sound of a car's engine.
I didn't bother to look up, and continued crossing the street, while hysterically crying.

Taehyung was suddenly yelling something, but  make out the words.

What was he saying?...
What....

I turned around..
...facing the direction of the park...

And at that moment, everything went as slomotion.
Taehyung was running towards me while screaming something.

What was he trying to tell me?
What is he doing?

"Jiyeon move—" He screamed, running towards me.

I shake my head and noticed that I was facing a car.
I stared at the car, the lights blinded me.

Why wasn't I moving?
Jiyeon...move your legs!
Move your—

Boom!

I blacked out.
