Gabe:POV

I sit in the motel that we've been staying at for the last month, babysitting Charlie and Toby. Mom and Dad are working an extra shifts today, and it leaves me to be here. I love my family, but I hate babysitting. Toddlers are really needy, and I can never relax for one moment when I'm around them. Do you see my struggle with having two younger siblings?

"Gabe!" Charlie whines, and I groan.

"What?"

"I wanna see Teddy!" She says, and crosses her tiny arms over her chest. I sigh, and pick up the motel phone and dial Teddy's cell phone number.

"Hello?" Teddy answers.

"Teddy, I need you to come over. Charlie really wants to see you." I tell her, and I hear her sigh.

"Does she really want to see me, or are you just trying to get out of babysitting?" She asks, and I roll my eyes.

"This time, no. She actually wants to see you." I say, and I hear her sigh again.

"I'll be over there on about ten minutes." Teddy say, and I smile.

"Alright, bye."

"Bye." I hang up the phone, and set it down on the coffee table.

"Teddy's coming over." I tell Charlie, and she claps her small hands together.

"Yay!" She yells, and I sit down on the couch.

"Children." I mumble under my breath, and she sits down on the couch right next to me. "Um, can I help you?" I ask bitterly, and she cuddles into my chest.

"I love you, Gabe." Charlie's high-pitched voice says, and a smile appears on my face.

"I love you too." I say, and she shuts her eyes. "You better not fall asleep when I just called Teddy." I tell her, and she sits up.

I hear a knock at the door, and look through the peephole. I see Teddy standing behind the door with Spencer, and open the door. "What is he doing here?" I ask bitterly, and Spencer smiles sarcastically.

"Nice to see you too." He says, and they walk in.

"Spencer and I were in the middle of playing at the arcade, I was just going to leave him." Teddy says, and walks over to Charlie.

"Hi, Charlie!" She says cheerfully, and Charlie's face lights up.

"Hi, Teddy." She says, and jumps into Teddy's arms.

"How has your day been?" She asks, and I'm forced to stand next to Spencer, feeling very uncomfortable.

Josh:POV

I pace around my living room floor, running a hand through my hair every few seconds. I got an anonymous tip that the cops were coming after me for one of my thefts, and I can't think of anywhere to hide. They've been after me for about a year, and my mistakes are finally catching up to me. Why did I steal those watches to impress Kate? I hear a loud pounding at my door, and hesitantly look through the peephole, and see Olivia. I open the door, and take a step back.

"What are you doing here?" I ask shakily, and she slaps my cheek, hard.

"How dare you treat me like I was nothing? I got big news for you buddy, I'm not tolerating it anymore. You've been taking me for granted, and I'm done with it!" Olivia shouts, and I wince.

"I know, and I'm sorry." I apologize.

"And another thing- wait what?" She asks, clearly shocked.

"I said I'm sorry. Listen, cops are going to be here at any second now, so if I were you, I would get as far away from here as possible. Or else, you'll be considered an accomplice." I say, and she takes a step back, before running away as fast as she can.

My phone starts to ring, and I answer without checking the caller ID. "Hello?"

"Spencer." He says, and I clench my fists. This is the man that is responsible for all the crimes I committed. All because he knew how to blackmail people.

"What do you want, Walsh?" I ask, and he laughs. (AKA, Spenser's Dad.)

"Well, I just wanted to see if my anonymous tip to the police was effective. By you answering the phone, I assume that they're not there yet." Mr. Walsh says, and I shut my eyes. "Too bad that the last person you talk to before you get sent away, is me. Then again, you don't like anyone, so I guess that it doesn't really matter." I hear a pounding on my door, and my heart stops. "Oh, that must be them. Thanks for the help with the Teddy problem. After my son I needed someone else to do my dirty work for me, and you were stupid enough to accept! Have fun rotting in a jail cell for me." The line goes dead, and my door slams open.

I'm sorry, Teddy. I should have never gotten you involded in this mess.
