Four months later...
Teddy:POV
I stare at the positive pregnancy test in my hand, and my mouth forms into a smile. I've always wanted to have children of my own, and now I'm getting that opportunity with my wonderful husband. I stare at my stomach, and lightly run my hand over it. I rush out of the bathroom, and grab the phone to call Spencer at work. It starts to dial, and he answers.
"Hello?"
"Hey, Spence." I say excitedly, and I quickly frown. I don't want to tell him that I'm pregnant over the phone, it needs to be more special than that.
"Why are you so happy?" He laughs, and I try to think of a believable lie that I can tell him
"I just love to talk to you that's all. Anyway, I just called to say, hi." I say, and mentally slap myself. Calling just to say hi? That's really the best thing that I could think of?
"Are you sure that's the only reason that you called?" Dang it.
"Uh, yes. Love you!" I say, and quickly hang up the phone. Well, that was close. I want to call Ivy and tell her the good news, but I also want Spencer to be the first one to know. I groan, and sit on the couch, Spencer doesn't get off of work for another three hours. What am I supposed to do until then?
I stand up from the couch, and walk over to our kitchen. I love the big kitchen in Spencer and I's house, it's really easy to move around in. I decide to try to make myself some butter noodles, and pray that it turns out at least decent. I fill a pot with water, and set it on the stove. I think I remember when Pj was giving me a cooking lesson, that he said to let it boil before I put the noodles in, so I do just that. After I finish pouring the noodles into the pot, and rest my elbows on the counter, and just watch the seconds tick by on the clock. I sigh, and look back over to the noodles. Still not done. I groan, and pick up my phone and call Ivy.
"Hello?" She answers.
"Ivy' please come over. I'm bored out of my mind." I say, and she laughs.
"I'll be there in five."
"Okay, bye."
"Bye." I flop down on the couch. I can't wait to tell Spencer that I'm pregnant, so I have to have someone else try to entertain me until he gets home. I groan at my impatientness, and close my eyes. I think about everything that's happened in my life from when I was six, all the way to when I found out that I was pregnant, which was just a few minutes ago. I hear someone knock on the door, and get up to go answer it.
"Hey, T." Ivy says, and walks inside.
"Hey, Ivy." I greet her and she sits down, and sets down her daughter.
"You brought Teddy?" I ask, and Ivy looks up.
"Is that a problem?" She asks, and I shake my head.
"No, of course not." I say. "Can I um...Can I see her?" I ask, and she furrows her eyebrows.
"Sure." Ivy says, and hands her tiny toddler over to me.
"Hi, Teddy." I smile, and she giggles.
"Is everything okay? You're acting...different." Ivy says, and I look up.
"Oh yeah, I'm fine." I reassure her, and set down her daughter.
"So, what do you want to do?" Ivy asks, and I shrug.
"I don't know. Do you want to talk?"
"About what?"
"Well, would you ever want to have another child?" I ask.
"I think I'm good with just this one." She laughs, referring to her daughter.
"Are you sure? You wouldn't want to have a boy or anything?" I ask, and she looks deep in thought.
"Maybe, I'm still young, I have plenty of time to change my mind." Ivy says, and I nod.
"That makes sense." We spend the next few hours talking about Ivy's pregnancy, when the door opens.
"Spencer!" I say excitedly, and run to hug him.
"Wow, you really missed me." Spencer laughs, and I lean back.
"I don't really care to have thought out a romantic way to tell you this, so I'm just going to come out and say it. I'm pregnant!" I yell excitedly, and his face lights up.
"Really?" He asks, and full of excitement, and I nod my head quickly. He pull me in for a kiss, and I hear Ivy clear her throat from behind us. We turn around, and she shifts her weight uncomfortably.
"I'm just going to go now. Congrats, T." Ivy says, and rushes out the door. We laugh, and I rest my head on Spencer's chest.
"I'm going to have a little girl or boy." Spencer chuckles, and I nod.
"I can't believe it." I murmur, and he wraps his arms around me.
"We're starting our family." He says, and kisses my cheek.
I don't know what the future will bring, but I know that everything is will be alright, and that's all I need to know.
