Ding!

My phone woke me up from my sleep. I was a light sleeper, so this happened alot.

I picked it up and turned down my brightness as quick as I could because that shit be hurting my eyes.

I looked at the message to see who texted me, especially at this hour.

I contemplated on replying and decided not to. Placing my phone back on my nightstand, I drifted off to sleep again.

The bell had just rung and I'd been avoiding Lani all day.

I don't want her asking me questions about my "situation". I just don't have time for it.

I don't have time for people to act like they care about me when they really don't.

Its just some bullshit.

I rushed through the hall way, I never take the bus because that just makes me have to go home earlier than I do when I walk.

I heard footsteps behind me, but I didn't think that much of it, until I felt a tap on my shoulder.

Slipping my right headphone out of my ear, I looked over my shoulder to see who it was.

Milani.

Damn.

I didn't have a choice now, I was dreading this moment.

After taking my headphones our completely, I turned around all the way to see what she had to say.

"Tay I said sorry a thousand and one times, for what? I don't know because you won't text or call me back!" She ranted.

"Can you just tell me what I did? I hate you being mad at me." She looked down messing with her fingernails.

I feel terrible now.

"My bad Lani." I sighed. "I'm just going through alot of shit right now."

She stared at me. I grew uncomfortable under her gaze because it felt like she was watching my soul or trying to read me.
