4. We shouldn't fight

Something Izuku remembered was how terrified he was at Katsuki's yelling.

Footsteps. Louder than ever.

His feet stopped with terror. He gulped. The footsteps were louder than ever and were even accompanied by small growl.A low growl that sounded like the monster hardest attempt at pronuncing his name. It took sometime to realize it wasn't his name it was muttering. It wasn't him the monster was looking for.

" Kacchan... " Midoriya spoke. His voice seemed like a whisper compared to Kacchan's. Izuku couldn't stop trying to turn his head towards the monster everytime it growled. He didn't want Kacchan to make eye contact with it. Althought he never saw it with his own eyes he had heard stories.

The monster's growling sent shivers down his spine. It's distorted voice echoued loud in the room almost covering Katsuki's yells. It's fingers tapped on the wall as if it were a child tapping on the table as he waited for his meal to be served. Izuku knew he had to do something. It was after Kacchan.

" Kacchan I don't want to fight! I'm telling you the truth! There isn't anything here! And today was the first day I could use magic! That's why I my legs were shaking! " Izuku stated,  trying to sound as credibile as possible.

Katsuki yelling stopped. The room went silent except the tapping on the wall.

" Fine. " the sorcerer said. A wave of relief hit the spirit traveler but he tried not to show it. He remembered Katsuki as extremly inteligent and anything no matter how small he would notice. " I will call Iida back to bring some clothes prepare your shower. After that you come and have dinner with me. Got it? "

Izuku nodded. Katsuki left the room. The spirit traveler counted and only after a minute passed he had the courage to turn and look behind him.

The creature looked to have a human body only for it to be cut at its torso. Its fingers were small in contrast with it's large nails. Its eyes were staring curiously at Izuku as if it were the first time someone stared back at it. Izuku heartbeat increased as the monster's arm reached out to touch him. He backed away climbing onto his new bed,  without breaking eye contact.

The door opened before the monster or Izuku could move an inch. Iida Tenya,  the knight came inside the room carrying fresh clothes.

" Midoriya!" he said in his cherful tone. " I was told to bathe and heal you. "

" Yeah..." Izuku aswered as he tried to not look in them monster's direction. He knew it was very stupid not to keep an eye on the monster until he could get rid of it,  but Iida couldn't know they weren't alone. He didn't trust the knight enough to let him know the lie he just said to Kacchan.

"I'm surprised you and Kacchan didn't fight." Iida said as he put the clothes in a drawer. "I honestly thought you were going to end up in a coma or something."

" I don't think Kacchan would've beaten me that hard."

" Maybe you are right. " Iida  said. " Drink this. "Iida poured a brownlish liquid onto a glass and gave it to Izuku."  I'll heal you. "

The spirt traveler nodded and took brownlish lichid. After finishing,  Iida showed his were his bathroom was. Althought it was right next to his room he still felt more at ease not being in the same room as that monster.

Izuku took off his clothes and jumped into the bath as soon as it finished filling. Once in the bath Izuku relaxed. Iida prepared different times of shampons and shower gels and put them on a table near the bath.  After a while Izuku had to get out and change into some fresh clothes.

Only after putting on his clothes reality hit him. He had to eat dinner with Kacchan.

As you may have noticed the chapter came a two weeks late. I'm terribly sorry. I actually had a chapter written but it was so horrible I couldn't get myself to publish it. I rewrote it and I'm much happier with the result ( I know the ending is rushed,  I will correct it someday)

See you next week ( hopefully)
