Know Me

Wishing you were mine,

Every single time,

I see your pretty self,

but you are so much more than a petty thing on a shelf,

I want to know your heart,

& know you even when apart, 

so lets talk,

get to know me more every tick of the clock,

I don't want to date,

well not just yet,

not till I know what you will want tomorrow,

before you say it,

before you pray it,

for you are more than your pretty face,

but to me in all ways you are the best thing in all of space,

and know me, 

so you know its true.
