Wesley~

"See, I really don't need any of you." Snell continues, his hand wrapped around Margo's wrist like a snake squeezing its prey. "I just need your blood."

My teeth are clenched as I struggle to keep my eyes focused on the target, my vision blurring in anger.

"What do you mean?" Margo's voice quivers.

He smiles, his face that of a monster. "Well, more specifically, your blood. The concept is simple. Your abilities flow through your veins, your blood has been genetically mutated by YX-27. So if I drain you of your blood and inject it into myself...I could be more powerful than all of you."

Almost involuntary, I take a threatening step forward. Avanali pulls me back. He couldn't mean...? No.

"So as I was saying, the rest of you are utterly pointless!" The guns shift and I prepared myself to be shot.

"No!" Margo snatched away from Snell, standing in front of us protectively. "Don't hurt them." She panted. "Don't hurt them, and I'll do it willingly. Otherwise I'll fight you until the very end."

I shook my head in frustration. "Hell no! You disgusting bastard! You aren't touching her!" Margo's eyes met mine.

Snell considered the scenario, obnoxiously tapping his chin. "Margo," He finally said. "Let's take a little trip next door."

Margo's eyes widened but she followed him out. I shouted curses. Everything was red, fire behind my eyes.

Margo~

I held my breath as my eyes fell on the chair. The room was metal just like the other but this one had a setup similar to a blood drive.

I gnawed on my lip until I tasted blood, my insides churned, fear coursing through my blood.

"Well have a seat," Richard Snell smirked. "You have attended a blood drive before, correct?"

I nodded though I had only worked a blood drive. I was alway too young. Now I was donating my blood to a psychotic criminal.

I sat down, clenching my fist. My eyes are closed as I grit my teeth.

"Relax, you're just going to make it hurt more." He hissed. I forced myself to relax my arm, flinching as the needle pierced my skin, an ache spreading up my shoulder.

One. Two. Three. I counted in my head as my blood traveled into the bag. Vile rose in my throat, my stomach churning as my vision began to darken.

I know this is really short but I wanted to post today. I've been on break and school starts back tomorrow so I'm not sure if I can post everyday like I've been doing but I will try. The chapters may be shorter though. Thanks for sticking with me. Comment and vote. XOXO ~N.K
