XIII - Heartbeat

 I've never forgotten that night, the way she made me feel, I mean I knew I loved her, but she proved me that there's something more, something even bigger that I feel for her, she made me feel that in that night. The only way to heal a broken heart is with love, seems like it's true after all.
 After New Year's Eve, we only met again when the 2nd term started, of course that I texted her in between that period of time, but we only saw each other when school restarted. Nothing happened much during the first month, just the usual getaway with her to the movies or just to see the night sky, look at the stars and just be with her in general. That is until the 3rd of February, Bea's birthday. Up until then, we had been in a kind of "pre-relationship" state, we didn't really assume it and we didn't want anyone to know until we were sure of it, and no one knew but us.
"They don't know about the things we do

 Bea's birthday was on the 3rd of February, she had a plan of renting a house for a night so we could just go there, just us and our friends and party. It was her 18th birthday so it had to be something big. 
 I woke up on the 2nd of February, I had to meet them at the school gate at 2PM, I checked my phone, 11AM, enough time to get ready, grab something to eat and head there. I did my usual routine, got my lunch and headed to the school. As I arrived there, I was early, as usual. I didn't see anyone at the gate so I just sat down on some stone benches across from it. I just sat there listening to some music, I opened my backpack to take out some chewing gum, as I brought the chewing gum to my mouth someone put their hands in front of my eyes and said.
 "Guess who it is"
 "You know I love your voice, right? Then you must know I can recognize it" - I said while laughing a bit
 "That's not fair!" - she replied with a fake pout, punching me in the arm playfully as she sat down beside me.
 "Want some?" - I ask, handing her chewing gum
 "Why is my breath bad?" - she answered, sarcastically
 "Let me check" - I countered as I got close to her and kissed her on the lips - "Nope, your breath is as sweet as it always is"
 "Asshole" - she retorted playfully while blushing a bit as she grabbed some gum from the case.
 We sat there talking to each other for about 10 minutes, just joking around, laughing, when we noticed our friends arriving. Bea was the first, then Bruno and then Mariana, there was a boy who arrived afterwards, I didn't know him though, it was Mariana's boyfriend. As they saw us they came towards us
 "I didn't see you guys!" - Bea said
 "Yeah I got here early and Inês did as well so we just sat here" - I replied
 "You guys ready to roll out?" - she questioned
 "It has been an honour serving you. Autobots! Roll out!" - I joked, doing my best with an Optimus Prime impression
 We just headed towards the house, it wasn't that far, maybe a 20 minute walk. When we arrived, we were all fascinated by the house, it was really amazing, not too large, not too small, just the perfect size. The house had 3 rooms, with 1 king-sized bed each, so it meant I had to share a room with Inês, so me being the gentleman I am (jk, I'm an asshole sometimes), said to her

 "I can sleep on the couch if you want me to"
 "No, there's no need for that, there's enough space for both of us on this room" - she retorted, a bit angry at what I said
 "Alright, are you sure? I can sleep on the floor if you want to" - I replied, making sure she didn't mind
 "Do I need to repeat myself? You'll sleep with me, in this bed. Okay?" - she answered
 "Alright, alright" - I assured her
 We headed each to our own rooms, Bea and Bruno to the master bedroom, Mariana and her boyfriend to one of the other rooms, me and Inês to the last room. We started unpacking, we didn't bring much, just some food and drinks and some clothes. When we finished unpacking we all headed to the living room to hang out a bit, the house had a balcony that was totally secluded from the rest of the house, so if two people were on the balcony, no one from inside could see them. The living room had two large sofas and two small sofas. I sat on the small one next to Inês, the other "couples" sat on the large ones. 
 "So, what are we going to do now?" - I inquired
 "I dunno, what do you guys wanna do?" - Mariana questioned
 "Did anyone bring any board game? Or something?" - I suggested
 "I brought some cards" - Inês said
 So we played some card games, we spend the afternoon like that, when the time for dinner came I decided to order pizza for everyone. As we were eating the pizza and watching a movie, Bea reminded us
 "Tonight we have to party and get drunk" - she said in a playful tone, she wanted her 18th birthday to be something she wouldn't forget. So we finished eating the pizza and we were joking around, till Bea got up and brought the drinks from the kitchen, Vodka, Whiskey, Tequila, etc. 
 "Someone must've robbed a liquor store" - I joked
 "Maybe, or maybe I spoke with my DARK SOY SAUCE dealer" - Bea countered, playfully
 We started drinking, I'm not much of a drinker myself, so I didn't drink that much. Just a glass and a half of Vodka, I didn't like the taste that much but I didn't wanna leave them to drink it all themselves. As I saw, Inês kinda liked Vodka and Tequila, wasn't a fan of Whiskey though. She was getting a bit tipsy, and it was getting a bit late. As I scanned the room, I saw all of them were a bit tipsy, Bea and Bruno were the first to head to their room, then Mariana and her boyfriend followed. Inês and I were the "last ones standing", she looked at me and said
 "It's just the two of us now"
 "Wanna go to the balcony? The sky seems really beautiful tonight" - I suggested
 "Sure" - she replied
 We headed to the balcony, it had 2 recliners so we got them close together and laid down on them. I looked at her as she looked at the sky, her cheeks were a bit rosy from the alcohol, but she looked so perfect, she looked exactly like a princess, 'My princess' I thought. 
 "Hey... I've been thinking... Do you... Wanna assume this thing we have?" - I questioned, scared of the outcome
 She paused for a bit, I'm not gonna lie, I was scared shitless, I could've just lost my chance, but then she answered
 "Took you long enough to ask that... I've been waiting for this moment ever since New Year's Eve..." - she explained equally scared, at least she seemed to be.
 I turned to her, looked her in the eyes, I felt it. A slight spark in our exchange of glances, that let my love loose, I didn't want to hide it anymore, I just wanted to scream her name and say I love her, and I did. (I didn't scream, I just said the expression, moving on)
 "I love you" - I told her, with my love filled eyes locked on her equally love filled eyes, I moved closer to her, and we kissed, but this time, it wasn't just a hungry kiss, it wasn't just love begging to be released, this time, it was the kiss who sealed the union of two broken souls, completing each other in a dance of sensations all given by the touch of our lips. I got up and picked her up, she put her legs around me, I led her to our room, while our lips never got separated, I opened the door to our room and gave it a little kick to close it, I laid her down on the bed and got on top of her. Our kisses burning with the fire of our hearts, our tongues dancing in synthony with the beat of both of our hearts, I could feel her body burning, we started exploring each others bodies, her hands on my back, her nails lightly scratching the surface of my skin, my hand on her hips pulling her closer to me each time our lips met. She started taking off my shirt, our lips got separated for me to pull the shirt off, but once I did her lips met mine again, we slowly got undressed while kissing each other. I started to kiss her neck, slowly going down, kissing the top of her breasts, kissing in the middle of her breasts, making my way down, until my lips met her other lips, she moaned slightly, not wanting to wake up the others, I slowly and delicately led her to an orgasm, she started moaning uncontrollably so I quickly moved my lips to hers, she tasted herself on my lips. She got on top of me, and I let myself get lost in the sensations, she led me through everything, slowly riding me while kissing me with the same intensity, always with the fire we both shared. It was the best moment of my life, we got as close as we could possibly be, literally and figuratively, our souls hugged each other through every second, our hearts collided, embracing and completing each other. We loved each other all night, I was sure of it. I love her, and in that moment, I knew she loved me. I had everything I've ever wanted, I couldn't be happier.
 The next morning I woke up, earlier than everyone else apparently, I looked at her, she had her head on my chest, my arm under her head. I didn't want to wake her up so I just stood there, contemplating her beauty, her lips, her skin, everything about her screamed love. I couldn't get enough of her. She shifted lightly, I was worried I might have awakened her, she looked around, then looked up at me, her eyes locked onto mine and I said
 "Good morning princess" 
 "Good morning prince" - she replied (cringy, I know, but it's the way I wanna write, if you don't like it, there's the door, moving on.)
 "I love you" - I told her 
 "I love you too" - she answered, kissing me. That was the first moment she actually said it, those three words, I just wanted to keep hearing them nonstop, I didn't care about anything else, all the things I did for her were worth it, I got what I wanted, and now I had another goal. Making her happy.
 "I'm gonna make breakfast, you can stay in bed if you want" - I said as I got up and grabbed my shorts and my shirt. I headed into the kitchen, we had bought some bread, so I made her some toast and some milk, I was going to bring her breakfast to bad, but I suddenly felt someone's hands around my waist, and said
 "I was going to give you breakfast in bed"
 "Yeah but without you the bed felt empty and cold" - she replied
 "Alright, breakfast's ready" - I announced to her
 We sat down and ate breakfast, people started to wake up and came into the kitchen, they saw her in my boxers and in my sweater and Bea asked right away
 "Omg, did you two...?" 
 "Yeah, we're together, we had been with each other sometimes before, we had kissed each other before and such, but we decided to give it a change yesterday, he was the one who suggested that" - she explained
 Bea didn't say anything, she just hugged us both as if we were her kids. I was happy, I had my friends and I had the love of my live with me, so I didn't need anything else.
 We all took a shower and got dressed, she kept my sweater, said she wanted it to remember her of my smell whenever she'd miss me. We got to the school gate and we all said goodbye to each other, Bea kissed Bruno, Mariana and her boyfriend were headed the same way so they said goodbye to us and went home, I held Inês in my arms and said
 "I'm gonna make you the happiest woman on this universe" 
 "I already am, I have you" - she replied as she kissed me on the lips, this kiss didn't lack hunger, nor love, but it wasn't so needy, it was more tender, our tongues didn't seem to battle each other, instead they seemed to just embrace each other. There was no more explanations to be done, our hearts completed each other, and as far as I was concerned, there was not going to be a single thing in this world that would separate us. I headed home, regretfully, I wanted to be with her some more. As I got home I told my mom the knews and she said she wanted to meet her, I told her she'd have the chance to, just let us take things slowly first and then I'd introduce her. I couldn't be happier. I had her.
