A beautiful lie created by your mind,
A scene so perfect it seems too good to be true.
When I wake up from that perfect dream,
I realize it is fake,
I try desperately to return to that alternate world,
I just want my worries to wash away like they do in my dreams,
Just want to feel happy,
Just want something to be perfect for once.
Why do we create scenarios in our mind during our slumber?
They always say to make your dreams reality,
But my dreams are too perfect to be real...
