I gasped for air.
"HENRY! HENRY HELP!"
I didn't know how to swim. My brother wanted to teach me. But father wouldn't let him.
"HENRY! HENRY I'M GONNA DIE!"
My head went under water once more.
It wasn't just drowning though. I was running from.... IT.
The clown offered me a balloon, and when I refused...
I noticed I was losing air now. My vision became blurry and I slowly fell limp.....

(RICHIE POV)
Beverly pulled a girl from the water.
"Is she dead?" Eddie clutched his inhaler fearfully.
Beverly put her ear on the girl's chest. She looked at Eddie fearfully.
"Your the doctor! Do something!" Eddie began searching his fanny-pack.
"Wuh-woah..." Bill looked at the girl. And then Mike, Ben, and Stanley.
"We can take her to the farmhouse. Grandpa knows what to do." Mike picked up and the girl bridal style.
"Woah, how did you--"
"Pigs? They weigh a ton more then her."
We all began walking to Mike's farmhouse, hoping the girl would live.

The girl sat up and gasped. "W-where am I?"
Mike's Grandpa laughed. "Well.. Richie here gave you CPR."
She looked at me. We locked eyes for a second.
She was beautiful. She had long/short (H/C) hair, beautiful (e/c) eyes... almost everything.
"Now tell me your name." Eddie demanded.
"Oh! I'm Y/N Bowers.."
Everyone was shocked for a minute.
"What was I doing down there? Let's just say I slipped and fell... I don't know how to swim..." She looked down, embarresed.
"M-m-maybe we c-can teach y-y-you this Summer."
Y/N smiled up at Bill. "Really?"
All of us nodded.
She flung herself at me. "Thanks for saving me!"
She gave me a quick peck on the cheek.
"You know where the Barrens are, right Y/N?"
She nodded.
"Alright, we'll be there."
We all walked away. I watched as Y/N dried out her shirt.
"Hey, Y/N--"
"Richie, right?"
I nodded and she smiled. She stepped up and put a hand on my cheek.
"Thank you." Her lips met mine.
When she pulled away, she was grinning childishly. "Guess I'll see you tomorrow?"
I nodded. She giggled and walked off.
"W-woah, a girl t-thats into R-r-richie."
I rolled my eyes as The Losers chuckled.
"Shut up, Billy-Boy."
And from there, it was history.
