The morning went by slower than any other day had been, and my days always felt long since I couldn't sleep or eat and such. Everything went as expected – we ate well, rallied our plan for the defeat of FinVarra, stocked up on provisions as much as we could, and set out to find Celesteela. But the whole process felt like it took several hours longer than usual, longer than anything I had put up with so far.

I was afraid. As we trekked the dead lands in search of Celesteela, I could tell that fear was drilling deep into the heart and mind I had given myself. I was afraid of what was going to happen, how these battles were going to go, and whether our decision with the bestia energy would be the right one to make. These thoughts stormed my mind constantly during the journey, even though we were in a huge group, practically our own army unit. Everyone else was talking to each other, thankfully leaving me alone with these thoughts.

"Hey, kids," Darrack spoke up, getting our attention. "Celesteela's just over this hill. We go down here, and it'll be a nonstop fight from there. So make sure yer precious Angel's all set and ready to go."

"Yep, I'm good. Recuperated just fine. I'm a bit big, so I just thought to keep quiet until you guys actually need me... you know, I'll be your big bomb," she answered when I squeezed my scarf. I repeated exactly what she said to the others.

"The only thing that's missing is the sword that conjures miracles...but you said that we shouldn't need it," Lucca brought up, glancing at Luna. She and Esther nodded to him. "Then I'd say we're set."

"You six will have to push right through the beasts until you can climb right up onto Celesteela. When that happens, use Disarming Voice the same way you did it with Crystal, putting all your wonder stones together. You'll need Angel's bestia for it, but that shouldn't be a problem. You'll stall the war for a few moments, too. When that happens, Celesteela should fly you right up into Dein Nomos... but make sure you stay inside of it while it's flying," Azu explained. She revealed her wonder stone and handed it to Lucca. "You'll need the extra volume... and I shouldn't be able to help you, anyway. Once you're inside, we'll retreat and... pray for you."

"You guys better come back, too. We'll definitely owe you a celebration after this," Ion ordered.

"Heh, with food that good, I wouldn't miss it for the world," Lucca chuckled.

"Of course you wouldn't," Brine rolled her eyes. We all looked up at the hill ahead and nodded to each other.

"Let's get this done!"

...

Exactly as predicted, the top of this hill, which we had to climb to reach the peak of, looked down over a deep, mountainous hollow brimming with beasts. Right at the bottom, directly in the centre, was Celesteela, whose height enabled it to see us without moving.

Directly above this hollow but miles up into the sky was Dein Nomos, visible as an orb of fluctuating water sticking out of the sea in the sky. The sound of heavy wind was howling from it, causing me to have to shout to be heard by the others.

"This is just like Alver... pull out all the stops; break out all the cards for the final defence. We've got to break straight through that wall of beasts," Lucca commented. He drew both of his swords and raised them, to which the beasts all rallied their otherworldly cries to each other and came charging. "Here they come, everyone!"

"We may not have our powers, but we're still Pokémon. And that means we can still fight!" Darrack snarled, charging off first. The Pokémon with us all cried out with their own rallied war cry and sprinted down the mountain to take on the beasts first, leaving us to wait for our opening.
