"I can try training myself with my powers. I owe you one, Kira, for releasing Allison and I from that spell. And you know, you should tell your mom about your powers."
"Really? But--" Before anything else, my mom calls me with torcher than a stream of fire."Kira! Get over here! Right now!"
"Who is that?" Said Allison.
"That's my mom crying for help. With something dumb, stupid or probably ridiculous." I mumble.
"KIRA!!!!" My mom yells.
"Hide! And don't come out no matter what." I whispered."Ok Mom, I'm here, but I have to tell something."
"Kira! Why isn't the bathroom clean? Why isn't the kitchen clean? You didn't even wash the dishes!"
"But mom, you didn't even listen to what I want to say."
"NOW!"
"Okay geez. What's with you and this shit?"
"Excuse me, what was that?!"
"Nothing."
"No it's not nothing. Repeat what you just said." My mom with the sassy attitude all the time. I want to tell her about my powers, Kitara, Allison, and all that info, but I guess she's not worthy of it. We had a ten minute argument with my mom hitting me with pretty much anything. A brick, a desk, a wall, anything really until there's a certain point where I blown up my temper to disrespect on her. That was my biggest mistake."Because you've disrespected me more than once with that attitude, you're grounded. You have crossed the line, I gave you your chances and you threw them all out."
Jesus Christ with this crap' n 'chores. I'd tell my mom about what's going on right now with what I'm doing with the deal of Laurenix, but she wouldn't believe me. I'd tell her that I'm studying, but she wouldn't believe that either. I never study for anything at all. Mother knows me very well to fool about anything most of the time. My mom would continue counting every time I strike back. Each number she counts is an hour of being grounded. If I get to three, it's a day without my phone. So unfortunately, I got to a week without my phone. I got back to my room.
"So, how'd it go?"
"Well, my mom grounded me for a damn week. She took my phone."
"Oh Kira."
"Why? All because of one thing. Now what information can I get without my phone?"
"You could use my phone." Said Zayn. "But isn't that what your time of grounded about?" said Allison. "Mother said when grounded, you go through the course. You can't learn your lesson if you don't."
"Allison...." Kitara clears her throat to me.Me not showing example to Allison isn't the best for her. She's not ready to know what it's like being rebellious or to crack through the walls around me. The punishments in Laurenix are even worst than my mother's. When refusing punishment, this bracelet that can appear into large cuffs. It spreads like a virus that makes you uncomfortable to do anything like if you were about to throw up. More than all is to spill the beans in your mind. 'Glad that's not happening to me. Allison could use them on me, but who knows? Maybe Zayn even though he's not from Laurenix. But not learning my mistake isn't going to get me any better.
"Is this what you want?"
"If being good is good, then yes." Said Allison.
"Okay then."We continued discovering the crest and training our powers. The blue gem in the middle represent itself as a key. But the only way to unlock the gem's power was to find the five main crystals to unlock the crest's purpose in order for the portal to Laurenix to appear. Two are rose quatz, two are gold, and one is amethyst. Kitara says they'll be shape like rocks when we find them, in Laurenix, they'll appear into actual crystals. Obviously I couldn't leave home unless I'm going to school. So this was going to be harder than expected to find those crystals.
Kitara stayed hidden in my room with Allison to use her necklace to explore the rest of the neighborhood, downtown, the woods, but she would just say the usual. Nothing. I would sneek away from school during lunch while Zayn looks around outdoors after school. Still nothing.
